We have had a fantastic day and met some wonderful dogs with their lovely owners.

A massive well done to Betty who won Best in Show 🌟 and thank you to everyone who got involved.

We have raised £500 to put in the pot for our sponsored charities this year which is incredible! 🤩 Thank you! 🐾🐾

Tomorrow The Tailwagger Dog Display Team will be doing displays and demos at the Tower Dog Fête in York. 🐶

The fête is organised by Tower Veterinary Group and is raising funds for Support Dog charity.

We will be in Bakewell on Saturday doing display/demos and supporting 8 Below Husky Rescue with their fun day. 😊

There are loads of stalls to have a browse around and a fun dog show, open to all breeds with some beautiful rosettes if you're lucky enough to get placed. 🏵️

The Tailwagger Dog Display Team is very excited to be attending Aldborough and Boroughbridge show next Sunday. 😁

Time is ticking to get your discounted tickets. Check out the Newby hall website to get your advanced discounted tickets! Remember under 12s are free!

It’s a great day out for all the family with plenty to see and do! There is fancy dress mounted and unmounted for the children and traditional races too! This year we are hosting our own beer tent for the adults and afternoon tea will be available in our traditional tea tent!

Access to Newby Hall gardens and playground is included in the ticket price too so it is two days out for the price of one!

On Saturday The Tailwagger Dog Display Team will be doing our thing at Kirkstall Festival. 🐶

The festival has a fantastic line up of shows and entertainment happening throughout the day, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

If you're anywhere nearby please come and get involved, it's going to be a great day! 😁

The Tailwagger Dog Display Team will be joining Rein Park Revolution, Voluntary Action Leeds and performing displays and demos between 11.00-14.00 tomorrow 🐶

The team is all set up at Bramham International Horse Show with have a go agility running all day between 11-5 across the full 4 days 🐕

£2 per go with all monies raised going to our supported charities.

We're also hosting a fun dog show on Sunday starting at 14.00

Classes are:

14.00 - Handsome Dog/Prettiest Bitch
14 20 - Waggiest Tail
14.40 - Most Appealing Eyes
15.00 - Dog the Judge would most like to take home

Entries are £3 per class or all 4 classes for £10

This weekend 18th and 19th May, the Tailwagger Dog Display Team will be attending Chatsworth Horse Trials.

We will be hosting a fun dog show on both days over the weekend 🐕

Registration for the dog show opens at 10.30 and entry into a class is £2

The classes are:

12.30 Most Handsome Dog
12.50 Prettiest Bitch
13.10 Best Rescue Dog
13.30 Best Veteran Dog
13.50 Best Child Handler (7-12 yrs)
14.20 Best in Show

We're also running 'have a go' fun dog agility all day which is only £1 to enter

We have received a lovely card from NOWZAD who were one of our nominated charities last year, along with Four Paws, Greenleaf Animal Rescue, Medical Detection Dogs and TAP assistance dogs.

Through our fundraising efforts, we were able to make a whopping £1200 donation to each of the five 2023 charities! 🥳

Thank you to the organisers that invited the team to attend events, thank you to the public for your generous donations and finally, thank you to every member of the team; humans and dogs for giving up your time, energy and resources to attend events and making the team as amazing as it is! ❤️

During 2024 our chosen sponsor charities are: Cloud K9 Rescue, Roleystone Horse and Pony Sanctuary and Yorkshire Swan Rescue Hospital. Funds raised throughout the season will be split between them at the end of the year! 😁

As we approach the display season, the Tailwagger Team are putting lots of time into training and practicing our routines.

Here is a sneak peek behind the scenes of our wonderful dogs practicing a collective 'stay' while we proof the stay by clapping, moving around and doing lots of other things the dogs could possibly find more interesting than staying 🐶

The Tailwaggers Display Team raises funds for sponsored charities throughout the year.

Charities are nominated and voted for each year by tailwaggers members and funds raised throughout the year from attending events are split between the selected charities.

This year, our sponsored charities are; TAP, Medical Detection Dogs, NOWZAD, Four Paws and Greenleaf.

With the display season now behind us, we are holding a charity auction to top up the coffers and raise some more vital funds for our sponsored charities.

We will be at The Outside Inn on 7th December holding a fun auction with no reserves and absolutely everything must go! 🎉

There is a little bit of everything up for grabs and plenty of bargains to be had. Please come and join us for an evening of fun and fundraising. 😁
