Beautiful tribute to Daisy 🌈
18 years of loving you. Our little Daisy, the most caring but angriest Jack Russell I’ve ever known. You were loved so much and the day we had to say goodbye, was one of the hardest days of our lives. A true companion, who I will be forever grateful for, who kept me company during some of the difficult times. She loved the beach, she loved to play fetch but she hated the window cleaner and any other dog, who crossed her path 🫣 Our home feels empty but we will always remember you. Back together with Fizz 🐶 🐶 🐾 🌈
Thank you to Roxy’s Rainbows for the care and compassion, they make a difficult time that little bit more bearable x

🌈 Here’s a little video of our new farewell room which we have not long opened. If you have used our services previously, you may have used our little farewell room but we’ve realised that there are sometimes quite a few family members who want to come and say their goodbyes, even their 4 legged companions too who grieve just like us. So, when the opportunity came to extend we decided to make a larger farewell room and we now welcome all members of the family. We know from speaking with families just how much using our farewell room has helped them, having their last moments together in a private, peaceful and calming atmosphere 🌈

A year ago today Roxy’s Rainbow was officially opened 🌈. We would just like to say a great big thank you to all the families who put their trust in us to take care of their beloved pets ❤️ Everyone who got behind us by either sharing our posts, telling your friends and family about us, however you helped us, it’s greatly appreciated and it really means the world to us, so thank you 🙏🏼❤️🌈
Wishing my wonderful husband a very happy birthday today 😍🎉🎂
So today we thought we would share Olives story with you all 🐶 as she is feeling left out. Olive is the four legged member of Roxy’s Rainbow 🌈.
After loosing Roxy we were both really struggling. Lockdown had started not long after and the emptiness in the house was unbearable. We knew we needed to fill that void but guilt was stopping us. Then in May, we came across this video on Facebook of Olive ( was Monica ) she was in a rescue centre in Cyprus called Dog Valley Rescue, she was around 18 months old and had spent 10 of them with the rescue who saved her from a terrible start in life. They kept trying to find her a home but she was always overlooked so we decided to give offer this girl her forever home 🏡. With all flights stopped due to lockdown we just had to wait but then on 5th June, Olive was one of 200 dogs who started their journey to the uk. Flying to Brussels then transported the rest of the way by a specialist animal courier, she finally arrived in the uk in the early hours of June 6th to a location in Barnsley where we went to collect her. 🐾🐶
Throughout the day we will share more of Olives story 💜
