The RDA Unicorn Centre is a specialist center that makes this possible for so many, and we stand firmly behind them. While they fight to stay open, we won’t be taking on any of their clients so please don’t be offended when we ask and decline — we are standing firmly together.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update — the weather forecast isn’t looking great, but sessions will still be running as planned. Depending on conditions, we may need to focus more on stable management and other activities instead of riding.

Thank you for your understanding, and we’ll make sure it’s still a useful and enjoyable session whatever the weather brings!

We are absolutely thrilled to officially welcome Indi to our team! 💕
Indi is our kind-hearted 15.2hh Clydesdale cross, and we can’t wait for everyone to fall in love with her as much as we already have.

✨ This time, the lovely Eliza has the honour of introducing Indi. Eliza has been with us for over two years—starting her journey on the wonderful Knight, and now proudly progressing to the beautiful Indi. It has been such a joy watching Eliza’s confidence grow, and to see her developing into a capable, effective, and confident rider.

We’re so excited for all the adventures ahead💫🐎🌸

🌸🐴 Exciting News at the Riding School! 🐴🌸

We are so happy to officially introduce Cherry, our beautiful New Forest pony! Cherry is a 13.2hh school mistress, and we’re thrilled for her to become part of the team. 💕

And who better to introduce her than our lovely little Lills – who’s not so little anymore! ✨
Lills joined us back in 2022, when she was just 6 years old, riding Marbles. Fast forward to today, she’s nearly 10 and has grown into one of our most confident, consistent riders. 🌟

We can’t wait to see Cherry and Lills (and of course all of you!) making wonderful memories together. 🐎💫Joan Herbert

Can anyone help?
One of our well meaning clients have rescued a baby bunny, that for reasons beyond our control can not be returned to the place of rescue and probably wouldn’t be accepted back by mum due to the smell of humans anyway.

We have the baby safe, and he seems healthy, eating and drinking.
So we are asking if any of our lovely clients or friends may be able to help us out with a suitable spare hutch or cage ? 🙏🥺😇

After many years as part of the Four Acres Riding School team, Knight is heading into a well-earned retirement. Knight was one of the first ponies to join Four Acres and holds a very special place in Jenny’s heart, playing an important role in shaping the riding school into what it is today, Knight was also a firm favourite of our beloved George.

He has been a trusted partner, helping many riders learn, enjoy, and grow in their riding. But Knight isn’t just a riding school pony – he has been with his owner Jo since he was 2 years old, becoming a true foundation of their family. Over the years, he has shared countless memories with Jo and her loved ones, holding a very special place in the hearts of Katie, Leci, Sue, and Sadie. Now, at 16, and with ongoing health issues, he’ll enjoy his retirement surrounded by the people who know and love him best.

Thank you, Knight, for everything you’ve given to our riding school and our riders. We wish you a long, happy, and comfortable retirement.
