*** Urgent plea for help with equipment ***

Whilst we will be soon launching some fundraisers to help cover our huge vet bills this year, as our bank balance is now at Zero.. :(

In the mean time, we are still being asked to help with lost and founds, RTA's, possible cats left in moves etc.

Over the 13+ years we have been operating, we have purchased well over 20 chip scanners and over the years, sadly, nearly all, for various reasons are never returned :(

We currently now only have two, BOTH of which are out on loan.

We are in desperate need of at least 2 more.

Could you please help us fund 2 more scanners? They would cost just short of £100 for 2 and with them we could help reunite and save many more cats.

We’ve had a fantastic week with 3 of our longest staying fosters, finally reserved and going “home” after 8 months and 2 having been in care for over a year!

So, thrilled for them all 💕🐾💕

That leaves our two longest foster cats in care, Truffle and Bourbon, in care over a year… 😥 Mother and Son…

Could it be a Christmas miracle we also find them a perfect forever home in time for Christmas… 🤞

Here at Paws, we are a great believer in giving TIME for ferals, long term strays and those who have been let down by humans in the past.

Tonight, this happened.

2 years, 2 weeks into forever foster care "Grumps" (aka isobelle) perched herself on my lap for the first time EVER! Having been picked up and gently placed on my lap, for the first time EVER in over 2 years!

*** Fizel ***
Over 6 months in foster care 😢

Fizel is a beautiful boy, approx 5 years old.

He is a full pedigree Bengal.

True to Bengal characters, Fizel has reluctantly come into care, as despite being super loving boy to people… he’s a notorious, unsociable menace to the other cats on his street and surrounding areas.

Flizel has spent his entire life having access to the outside, and stopping that now could cause him huge distress and in turn, potentially fatal UTI infections.

Fizel has to have the following:

* Only cat home
* Outside access - this can be via a very rural area with no other cats in the close vicinity, Or a large “catio” / outside secure area he had access to.

Fizel is neutered and microchipped and uses his litter tray beatifully.

He could live with very, gentle, mild mannered young children.

A Homecheck would apply and an adoption donation of £75 asked.

*** Bourbon ***

Over a year in foster care 😢

Please say hello to Bourbon.

A stunning black panther with fur like velvet.
Bourbon is very affectionate but takes a while to get used to any big changes. He loves his cuddles and will gentle pull you in for snuggles with his paws. 🐾

Dumped outside a closed vets, scorching heat at barely a day or so old, Bourbon deserves a home that will cherish and love him like the panther king he is.

Bourbon can be a little scared around loud noises he’s not used to so young children or a very busy household wouldn’t be an ideal environment for him. He’s a chilled lad that just needs his very own human to call his own.

Bourbon has been vet checked, neutered and micrichioped.

Currently in foster care in Clacton.

Home check will apply and an adoption donation of £60 kindly asked.

*** Truffle ***

In foster care for over a year 😢

Truffle is a young mumma who is now learning how to be a kitten again. She’s exceptionally playful and vocal. She will let you know exactly when she needs something.

If your looking for a lap cat who you can have a full on conversation with, Truffle if your girl. (Don’t expect to be able to use the loo alone if you adopt her)

Dumped in the height of summer outside a closed vets with her newborn babies, only being a baby herself.

Truffle has now been neutered, vet checked and micro chipped and is enjoying being simply a cat again.

Truffle has had interactions with other cats and with slow introductions could be homed with other friendly cats. 🐈‍⬛

Currently in foster care in Clacton.

*** Snickers & KitKat ***

Over a year in foster care 😢

Please meet the stunning sisters snickers and kitkat.

These amazing girls were found dumped in 30° heat, just a day or so old, with their brother, another sister (Oreo who has found her furever home) and young mumma outside a vets that had closed for the bank holiday weekend.
Snickers and kitkat are a duo of kisses and cuddles. One being slightly more shy than the other. However they bring out each others loving and playful side. Both have an amazing appetite and no health issues, as well as using the litter tray appropriately.

Both love to cuddle up whether it’s on your lap or around your neck.

These beautiful sisters deserve the best home and will add an awesome atmosphere.

They just need a chance and have been in foster care for far too long now.
