FISH OF THE WEEK:
These beautiful fish are usually found in the deeper parts of the river in large shoals, living among the tree roots where their tall body shape gives them an advantage when hunting for prey and avoiding predators. For their bodyshape these fish will appreciate a tall tank ideally 2foot or (60cm) for adults. Minimum tank size should be no smaller than 120 litres for growing angelfish and 200+ litres for adults. Tankmates would include larger bodied tetra, Dwarf cichlids, Cory catfish and many other options just remember they're predators and will eat anything big enough to fit in theor mouths. Diet should be varied between high protein flake, pellets and frozen foods. Will appreciate a wide range of setups from dense planted aquariums to biotope blackwater aquariums. These fish are an absolute joy to keep whether it's in a community tank or breeding setup, get yours today while in stock

This last weekend I got out my pondovac 3 to clear my net of leaves and clean my filter out ready for the winter ahead.

I love my pondovac 3, it runs continuously and empties and discharges into the garden as and when required.

I purchased my pondovac from World of Water with the aid of their expert advice. It’s a great wet and dry vac and it serves my pond and garden well.

When I say “cleaned” my filter, it was the tiniest remnants as my filter again is an Oase filtoclear- which I’m hoping to upgrade to the new model. My whole pond is just powered by Oase lights, water trio, filtoclear 12000 and my Aquamax eco premium pump, and my FM MASTER WLAN that is app controlled as well as my aqua oxy airpump!
