Warning ! Botanical hitchhikers are spreading through the area. Please be careful that your dogs don’t get caught by them. Charlie was full of them yesterday afternoon after a long walk. He has had to be shaved all over to get them out He had an emergency appointment yesterday afternoon and then this morning he came for a tidy up. Charlie was at clowbridge reservoir. I hope this info helps x some of these pictures are from another groomer in the local area x

Me ? Naughty ? No ! Rodney isn’t so sure about having his face trimmed. His mum has booked him in for regular puppy introductions so when he has his first full groom he isn’t overwhelmed. Puppy introduction sessions are the building blocks of how your dog behaves being groomed for the rest of their life ❤️

This next week is going to be very hot 🥵! I just wanted to give my customers some tips on keeping your pups cool during the hotter days.
- Keep your dogs hydrated and provide shade.
- Avoid walking in the hotter periods of the day. Either early in the morning or late at night.
- Stay away from hot surfaces such as pavements, concrete and stone. If a surface is too hot for your palm it is too hot for your pets paws.
- Limit any time in the car as cars get very hot very quickly.
Heat stroke can be life threatening. If any of your dogs show the following signs please get in touch with your vets. Excessive panting and drooling. Lethargic. Vomiting and diarrhoea. Loss of Coordination.

I just wanted to do a post recommending Helen Fairclough at Digs For Dogs in the Rossendale Valley. She is currently looking for new dogs to add to the pack 🐾

As many of my clients already know Kitza has been a member of the pack since she was a puppy. Helen helped us with doing puppy visits, socialising & giving Kitza a fantastic walk everyday !

Personally I couldn’t recommend Helen enough - how she is with the dogs to letting them explore & taking them all over the local area.

If you are currently looking for a dog walker Helen could be the lady for you - as she has been for us over the last 3 years.
