Feels like forever ago since we took all the pups out for a big walk to the Halo with Uncle Joe! Had a good few hours outside round the monument and up the hill where they could run riot and they absolutely loved it. So nice seeing them all running round together to their hearts content! 🥺🫶🐕👯

Hello!

I’ve just been informed by one of our lunch time pick ups that Blackburn Road has been closed due to an incident near Rising Bridge!

She was allowed through to pick up her dog but was instructed to return the same way, whether they will allow my other customers to do the same I’m not sure but wanted to make anyone with a dog in daycare today aware of the incident!

You may also have to find alternative routes home/ to daycare given the road closure.

I know it’s hard work enough as it is with the weather conditions, drive safe please! 💛

Visited Northern Canine Therapy Centre this morning for a networking coffee morning for Canine Professionals, and got the chance to look round the hydrotherapy facilities for the dogs and horses, was an amazing centre!

Was given a demo of their new dog pool which they use for physio, hydrotherapy sessions and ‘Fun and Fitness’ sessions to give your dog a chance in the water. Was so interesting seeing the work they do here for rehab and even just building confidence for dogs. Got a chance to check out one of the horses in session too which was so interesting.

Based in📍Rathmell, deffo check out their website! In a beautiful area and lovely, knowledgable staff 🌿🐎🐕🐾

The pups have eased their way back into daycare this week, we’ve had slightly brighter weather but they’ve been getting back into the swing of things same as us! So plenty of cuddle puddles and naps with the odd venture outside for some fresh air 😴🌤️🌬️

It’s been lovely seeing all my fur babies again 🫶

And a warm welcome to our newest baby Binks the cockerpoo who has done her first couple of days this week and has settled in beautifully ♥️

✨Countdown to Christmas✨

DAY 4, Christmas Pup Feast 🍗🥓🥔🥕🥦🥛

Well I’ve never seen dogs demolish food so quickly in my life! 😂 they absolutely loved their Christmas dinner.. they had chicken, a full size pig in blanket, potatoes, sprouts, carrots and peas, washed down with a bit of chicken broth (please ignore how much I spilt on the floor oops).. it went down a treat! Finished off with a personalised pup cup to take home with a Christmas cracker full of treats!

If anyone had pics of their pups with their cracker send them in as I forgot to take pics!

DAY 2, TUE: Winter Walkies 🌞🐕🐾

Not as ‘winter wonderland’ as I would’ve maybe hoped but we were blessed with a break from the rain and some lovey sunshine! Thank you to Ant and Leah Anna Davies for joining me and the pups.. Bruce was an honorary sausage dog for the day 😂 they had a right adventure through the muddy hills (the small sausages had to be rescued at one point) and safe to say they were knackered when we got back to daycare 💤

DAY 1, MON: Snowball Pit and Xmas Veg Bobbing! ❄️🥕🥬

The pups loved fishing for carrots and sprouts out the paddling pool! Didn’t think they’d like the sprouts as much as they did but they ended up eating them all!! And had a carrot each too which they loved crunching away on.. as for the ball pit, half of them were like what the hell is all this so only a few ventured in but the ones that did had a great time!

(Also ignore how chewed up the pool is, it’s apparently a favourite chew toy choice 🥴)

It beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🎄🌟☃️

Bring back the snow instead of this rain, the pups have absolutely loved it! Always makes them bonkers aswell 🤪🏃💨
