Hi All,

I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who has asked about me/passed on their well wishes as a result of my recent absence from No.9. You are all so very kind, thank you 🤗, it has really helped me through a tough time personally.

So yes, I'm due to have an operation (which was delayed) and as yet I don't have an alternative date, meaning that unfortunately I am just not able to work at all. When I know, I will let you all know when I will be back in work.

In the meantime, I'm hugely fortunate that I have Mel and now Jess as well, to keep No.9 running smoothly in my absence.

Yesterday was such a poignant and emotional day but seeing the Queen's corgis, Muick and Sandy - and one of her favourite ponies, Emma, paying their regards to their owner absolutely broke me. And don't even get me started on Pipe Major Paul Burns', "Sleep, Dearie, Sleep" as he walked away....
