📣Announcement!📣

As my clients are already aware, I will sadly be closing the business next month! My last day will be Thursday 29th August. This is such a sad decision, but one I have not made lightly. I am wanting to take a different direction with my life, and I’m also planning to relocate at some point this year. I have loved walking all your doggies over the past few years and I’m so grateful for all the support I’ve received. I will miss them all so much! This might not be goodbye to Hounds & More forever…who knows what the future may bring 😁

This weeks walks, and the end of the secure field socials! 😢 They’ve been super fun and I will miss all the dogs that joined us for them! 🩷👋🏼
I will now only be open part time for regular group walks Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes, as I’m taking a different direction with my career 🤩 But didn’t want to give up the walking completely! (clients already made aware) 👍🏼

Paws will be 2 yrs old in September.
She is a sighthound mix collie.
The most adorable soul you could wish to meet.
She is so playful and friendly.
Paws would jump into any car and happily go off for a spin with any of our visitors 🙈 and she has tried.
Poor girl would do anything to be ‘picked’ for a home.
She is very confident and fears nothing. Walk down a busy street or town.
No fear of our livestock and very confident around equines.
Dog savvy cats only just because she is so playful, but means no harm.
Paws loves all dogs but a medium size dog or a dog her own size as a companion would suit her better or she would be very happy to be an only dog too, as she thrives on your attention. She loves to be told shes a good girl.
Paws has such a coat of velvet and ears like silk.
Now to find her a home 🤞

As a team we always worry about a dog with a ‘long nose’
Nobody will ever come.....

Dogs’ stress signals often get misunderstood or missed, with some owners not realising their dog is unhappy until they growl, snap or even bite.

The canine ladder of communication is a useful guide, showing some of the different signals dogs show through their body language to communicate.

As a dog gets more upset, their body language may change according to the steps on the ladder.

It’s important to note that all dogs are different - not every dog will show every behaviour on the ladder and might not follow the specific order.

Familiarise yourself with the signals shown above so that you can recognise them with your own dogs

📣NOTICE📣

Just to make you aware I will be unavailable from July 8th - July 14th. If you have regular bookings and have any dates that you do not need me, please let me know with as much notice as possible so I can plan accordingly! This job pays my bills, so lots of last minute cancellations is a massive loss of income for me. With enough notice I can book in other work 🙂

Also I am still missing some forms from some people, so if you have not already signed them and returned them, please can you ASAP 🙏🏽
