🪱Did you know… earthworms pull leaves into the soil??

🍂They dont rely on decay, they actively grab leaves and pull them down into the soil first processing. Amazing composters they are and that’s why leaving the leaves around your garden is so important to the ecosystem system!

🍁So if anyone asks you why you’ve not seen raked your lawn, tell them the words told you to leaf the leaves alone!

Such a lovely sight ❤️

These two came to us a while back after poor Harry’s long term bun friend had passed away and rescue Bella had never lived with another rabbit! They were then successfully bonded as a pair under the watchful eye of Lindsey! 👏🏻 ❤️

In einem Monat kehren die Schwalben zurück. Sie wiegen etwa 20 Gramm, haben aber im Flug mehr als 5000 km zurückgelegt.

Sie durchquerten die Sahara.
Sie überquerten das Mittelmeer, ohne eine Pause einzulegen.
Sie kämpften durch Turbulenzen und Sturmwinde.

Und all das, um genau in dieser Ecke unseres Hauses, unter dem Dach, zu brüten.

Eine einzige Schwalbe kann bis zu 850 Fliegen und Mücken pro Tag verzehren.

Wenn wir das Glück hätten, ein Nest dieser Art in unserer häuslichen Umgebung zu haben, könnte das Paar täglich etwa 1.700 Fliegen und Mücken verputzen.

Es gibt kein effektiveres und umweltfreundlicheres Insektizid.

Geben wir ihnen das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein, denn sie haben uns ausgewählt.
