A photographer took a picture of this couple throwing ashes into a river. When he asked who’s ashes they were, they told him their dog who had died at 15 …..The photographer asked them if he could edit the picture and they agreed….this is what he gave them~

Litter can cause fatal consequences.

It’s so important we dispose of rubbish in a safe way - Use a bin, take it home and recycle what you can and Keep Britain Tidy for the sake of our wildlife.

This poor mallard was spotted with a plastic ring stuck round its beak, restricting its ability to feed. Luckily he was spotted in time by two people and they got in touch for advice. One of our amazing volunteers dropped them off some nets and set of on a rescue mission to save this beautiful animal.

After several days and several attempts they successfully captured the mallard and cut the ring off. Luckily there were no injuries and this story had a happy ending which isn’t the case for them all. Well done 👏

This picture is of Camberley Kate, who was well known in Camberley as the lady who would wander the streets with her “stray dogs” cart and gather up all the waifs and strays. It is said that during her life she rescued and gave a loving home to over 600 homeless dogs.
Today, I’m honouring this inspirational lady who devoted her life to saving dogs. And what a legacy she did leave behind, and to all the animals, we must be kind.
