Its taken me while to accept this and have the courage to post about it formally.
As some of my lovely clients already know, I have been really struggling for quite sometime with back & hip pain, adenomyosis and other chronic physical/mental health issues. Some days my pain levels are so bad I can't get out of bed, care for myself or even put my own socks on. Having severe ADHD too, I am battling my quirks as well as my crazy high anxiety and yep, alot of the time it wins π I can honestly say its the most debilitating part of being neurodiverse for me, and the lack of short term memory!
Sadly, I had to make the decision to further, drastically reduce my working hours due to this. I couldnt continue the pace due to my health progressively worsening. As much as I love my job, I had to admit defeat, which is a very tough pill to swallow...
Thank you for all the support, understanding and love from some of my beautiful clients, even when I've had to rearrange appointments, the lovely flowers, messages to check in on me and the hugs - I cannot express how much that means to me, the relationships i have built with you i treasure. I am truly blessed. It is your lovely dogs who keep me going, they are the best driving force a girl could need - their little wagging tails and kisses are just the BEST!
I felt I needed to be open and try not see this as a vulnerability, but more a chance to personally share with you, there's more to a business than a logo, there's a person behind it too β€οΈ

This is a relatively new style for me but I absolutely love it π super cute and practical for owners to have shorter chins and muzzles for cleanliness.
Buddy models it beautifully and poses like a pro!
P.s. he holds his ears oddly - they're not trimmed wonky I promise!!

This is my new pricing table - I am so busy now I need to maximise my ability to be able to accommodate the huge client base I've built, doggies been off schedule means longer appointments and much more work involved in the groom.
This applies to all clients and doggies other than those who I have put on longer schedules (for example pugs, frenchies, labradors etc).

A very big thank you to all my wonderful clients for keeping me so busy - your support means everything to me & I am so humbled by the love and recommendations I receive.
As such, I have approximately a 4-5 week wait bar a couple of appointments scattered - and it is growing by the week.
Currently, I have tried to be as accommodating as I can to keep up with your pets coats and keeping continuity of their care for me as groomer hopping really can confuse the dogs and ruin the work I've done with them, I've been working my days off, weekends and even evenings, sadly I can't keep doing it as it takes me away from my family time and I need to keep a balance for them.
Unfortunately, unless appointments are booked in advance, I can't guarantee your groom. The best time to do this is to book at the time of your appointment for the next one (ideally two).
Once again, a huge thank you for entrusting me with your lovely dogs, cats & rabbits π©·

I've been working with Reuban to alleviate his bathing anxiety and after just 4 grooms with me we have cracked it! He used to turn himself inside out in the bath, he HATED it. Today, he stood calmly and still for the entire duration. I am SO proud of him, my arms are no longer covered in scratches π

Baby Betsy came for her first deluxe puppy pamper today which on top of the standard puppy pamper also includes teeth brushing, fresh breath foam, paw and nose balm, a certificate and a beautiful collar bandana. She did so well and posed to pawfect ion afterwards for a snap π

She was such a wiggly but it was difficult to film while grooming so I just did some small snippets, check out her constantly wagging tail - such a happy little lady! She had visited for 2 puppy grooms prior to introduce her to grooming in a slow, gentle manner meaning her full groom was not stressful or scary for her.
