📅 The seal pupping season is here 🙌👶

👀 You may spot the white pups alone on sheltered beaches, their mum is usually in the water nearby searching for food🐠 This is normal, though if they're disturbed, touched or moved, the mother may abandon them 💔

⚠️Watch them from a distance, staying at least 50m away
❌ DO NOT CHASE THEM INTO THE SEA!

On Thursday at pembsshow we welcomed the team behind ‘Pembs TB Project’. A collaboration of Pembrokeshire Vets, farmers and scientists who are passionate about making a difference and giving back control of TB in Pembrokeshire & Wales to our farmers with data analysis.

The team spent the morning informing and engaging with Huw Irranca-Davies MS/AS and other politicians as well as Wales’ chief Veterinary officer Mr Richard Irvine. They then spent the afternoon chatting to farmers about the project.

And that’s a wrap
A long week… from setting up for the Pembrokeshire county show in the rain, having the best 2 days meeting, greeting, eating, drinking, chatting, laughing and welcoming everyone to our stand for 2 very different days ☀️☔️and then finishing up today in the sunshine.
Thankyou to all that made it happen, and to all who visited us once again.

pembsshow over&out for another 12 months, Looking forward to next year already.

Alex completed it in 4:07:59 &
Jack completed it in 3:24:10

Today, as we speak, Alex and Jack take on a 13km marathon swim up the Thames, beginning at Henley-on-Thames and finishing at Marlow with three locks that they need to go over in between.

They are aiming to do this in around 4 hours and have been training for months in readiness.
