I now have hired help due to demand and my inability to be in 3 places at once 😆🐴🐴. I hope everyone is coping OK with their horses in this freezing weather. 🥶🥶🥶🐴🐴🐴 In 2025 one of my goals is to get back out competing, I miss it so much, so today I have entered one of my bucket list events which I have always been fascinated by which is Man V Horse!! It's held in Wales over 24 miles of gruelling terrain. I am on the reserve list so praying I get in, I now have 6 months to get myself and Tigs super fit for the event. Luckily for us lots of big hills in Pembs. Any other bucket list horsey events I should consider? Or what events are you most looking forward to this year drop it int the comments

Would like to wish all my past, current clients and all my followers a happy horsey new year in 2025. 🥂🥂 This year has been a brilliant year for me personally, with equine bookings and new clients every single month, apart from July when I had a much needed holiday. In 2024 I

🐴rode 15 horses for clients
🐴spent 297 hours in the saddle 🐎
🐴 rode for 1187 km (793 miles)
🐴 provided equine care for 29 horses for holiday bookings
🐕 looked after 6 dogs during residential bookings
🏡 6 residential stays
🐄Emergency farm cover

I would like to thank everyone who has trusted me to look after their horses and much loved pets

I do hope everyone had lovely horsey weekends and you are all getting excited about Christmas 🎄 🙏🐴😍🥂I had a great weekend, bookings with regular clients, dog walking and spent some quality time with my dear sister, we went for the most stunning 3 course Christmas meal at Veganishmum Pop Up Restaurant on Saturday eve , Sunday we went for a lovely walk on Newgale beach followed by coffee and cake in the local cafe. Then back up the stables to clip Tiger. Texas is having a 6 week holiday out with his field buddies. 🐴🐴 bookings are flying in for January 2025 so please DM the page if you need any help or a rest after Christmas in the new year ! 🎄🐎🍷🧑‍🎄

Good Evening all, due to an expansion of my equine business, I am looking for a horsey yard to rent in the new year, within 10-20 mins of Haverfordwest, 4 -6 stables (must have turnout) fields/paddocks and ideally a sandschool, good hacking a bonus please note I'm not looking for stables on a livery yard, good references available. Wow what a super busy day, 😆🐴 this morning I took Texas trail hunting, only his second time,we hacked to the meet as it wasn't far from the yard. He was absolutely brilliant did some lovely jumps,sky rocketed others 🚀🚀 😁stood quietly when we stopped and quite keen to get going again, very pleased with him a really good experience for him to be out with a group of horses and the hounds. Then this afternoon it was all about the pooches, 3 hours of dog walking 🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺 and then back to the stables to do some assisted liveries. 😴😴

This week my usual Tuesday 'horsey' day was riding for clients and in-between riding Texas. His first time jumping a double and a small course a little unbalanced at the last but so pleased with the progress. His canter needs a lot more work to improve and we will continue to incorporate pole work into his training as well as lots of hacking. ❤️

Evening I hope you have all had a brilliant week with your horses and enjoying the beautiful sunny days ☀️☀️🐴🐴 last weekend I had a residential booking and we had a yard clinic with the brilliant Barry Thomas - Better Equine Training who put Tex and me ! through our paces, I'm learning so much about the importance of groundwork,and it's helping to reduce the tension he has, an absolute game changer and looking forward to the next clinic. This week I have been working with regular clients with yard cover, hacking out, in hand work, schooling, In between a 2 day meeting in Cardiff. Remember if you need any help DM the page

For those that have older horses I would be very interested to hear how much work you do with your horses? Tiger is 24 years old now and he is exercised usually 2-3 times a week, I always make sure he has a day off in between, he certainly doesn't feel ready to retire, if tonight is anything to go by, we went for a lovely hack followed by a few little jumps 😁😆but he does sometimes feels a bit stiff going downhills, he has regular physio, wedges in his back shoes and an occasional bute, I have tried various supplements over the years, can anyone recommend a good joint supplement? I want to give him the best possible care in his later years and make sure he is comfortable whilst still in work such a special boy ❤️🐴🥰

Good morning everyone, I hope everyone enjoyed the bank holiday and got some much needed horsey time 🐴 a very very busy 2 weeks for me, with very early starts and late finishes, I have horses on holiday livery, assisted livery and yard cover for some lovely new clients, hacking out for regular clients, all whilst working for DWP and doing my own horses, myself and Texas have been having some groundwork lessons every week which is really improving his confidence and tiger is hacking out to build up his fitness, winter is just around the corner and its getting dark so much earlier, 😭I am fully booked with residential and horsey bookings for most of September but remember if you do need any help please PM the page.
