SCRABBLE & MONOPOLY

Scrabble and Monopoly are two gorgeous black and white, two-year-old Domestic Shorthair brothers who are as charming as they are handsome. These affectionate lads are litter trained, neutered and fully vaccinated. They share a wonderful bond, often seen curled up together or playing side by side, so we’d love to see them rehomed as a pair. Their playful natures make them a joy to be around, and they’ll happily bring warmth, company and laughter to their new family.

These boys have so much love to give and would be perfect for someone looking for loyal feline companions to share their home. They are equally happy chasing toys, lounging in a sunny spot, or curling up on the sofa for a quiet evening in. Keeping them together will ensure they continue to thrive, offering each other comfort and companionship as they settle into a new chapter. Whoever welcomes Scrabble and Monopoly will be gaining two delightful friends who will fill their home with affection and purrs.

NOT ONE ENQUIRY 😢

Bee is an 8-year-old French Bulldog with a heart full of love and loyalty. Like many of her breed, she suffers from severe allergies, which mainly show as skin issues. Thankfully, with daily medication and the right care, her condition is now well managed. Because of her ongoing needs and the veterinary costs involved, we know adoption may be difficult, so we are looking for a very special long-term foster home for her. For all intents and purposes, she will be yours to love and cherish, while we continue to cover all essential veterinary costs.

Bee is a delightful little companion who is deeply devoted to her person. For this reason, she would be happiest as the only pet in the home. While she enjoys lead walks with other dogs, she doesn’t want to share her space or her human’s affection. To foster Bee, you must be based in Pembrokeshire and able to attend all veterinary appointments at Fenton Vets in Haverfordwest. This requirement is non-negotiable, as it ensures her ongoing care is properly managed. Experience with dogs who have allergies would be a bonus, but above all, we need someone who will follow our vet’s advice and provide Bee with the consistent love and care she deserves.

💚🐾 A Huge Thank You to Riverside Rockerbillys! 🐾💚

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity of the Riverside Rockerbillys, who raised an incredible £1,210 at their annual charity dance this year — and chose Greenacres Rescue as their charity to support! 🎶✨

This wonderful group of animal-loving, music-loving people come together every month at the Riverside Bar in Haverfordwest, bringing joy, great music, and community spirit. To be chosen as their charity this year truly means the world to us.

Recently, we shared Bonnie’s story (pictured below). Poor Bonnie has suffered with chronic ear problems for so long that she needed a major operation to remove her ear canals. While it may look extreme, this surgery has changed the lives of many dogs who were once in constant pain – giving them the chance of a pain-free, happy life.

This procedure cost £2,500, but so far we’ve raised less than £500. 😔 Without your help, we risk not being able to provide this kind of life-changing care for animals like Bonnie.

Life hasn’t been entirely straightforward for them so far, and they can be a little shy and nervous to begin with. Because of this, they will be overlooked by many, but with the right person who sees beyond their initial nerves, they have every chance of thriving.

With patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, both Woody and Buzz will slowly learn to trust and will reward their new owner with the joy of seeing them grow in confidence. ⭐️ VOLUNTARY LAUNDRY & CLEANING ASSISTANT – A VITAL ROLE IN OUR RESCUE TEAM ⭐️

At Greenacres Rescue, every single role plays an essential part in the care and wellbeing of our animals. We are currently seeking reliable, organised and caring individuals to support us with laundry and light cleaning duties.

This may not be the role people immediately think of when it comes to volunteering at a rescue centre, but it is truly one of the most important behind-the-scenes jobs we have. Fresh, clean bedding and a tidy environment are absolutely vital to keeping our animals healthy, comfortable and stress-free. By helping us with laundry and cleanliness, you are directly contributing to their welfare.

Key duties will include:
• Putting washing through the machine and dryer
• Folding and storing clean bedding
• Keeping the laundry room clean and organised
• Emptying bins
• Ensuring reception and public areas are clean, safe and welcoming

Hours: 10am–2pm, one set day per week. We kindly ask volunteers to commit to a regular day so we know who to expect each week.

💚 PLEASE SHARE 💚 YARD & STABLE CATS 💚

We currently have several semi-feral and feral cats searching for safe outdoor homes in rural settings.

Do you have a yard, smallholding, or stables that could benefit from some natural pest control?

🐾 Every cat is neutered, health-checked, and fully up to date with parasite treatment.

🐾 New homes must provide a secure settling space where the cats can stay until they are ready to roam freely. Full guidance and support on this process will be provided.

🐾 Yard and stable cats are an eco-friendly, natural solution for rodent control—no need for chemicals or poisons.

🐾 These cats prefer little to no handling. Once settled and free, they require very little upkeep beyond daily food and fresh water.
