🚨 Appeal for Information 🚨

Yesterday, the Pembrokeshire County Council Dog Warden collected a male Lurcher from a remote rural location after he was discovered by a member of the public.

Due to the severity of his condition, he was immediately taken to a veterinary practice for urgent treatment. He is now receiving ongoing care and is currently being held for the statutory stray-dog holding period on behalf of Pembrokeshire County Council.

If you have any information regarding this dog’s previous owner or any circumstances that may have contributed to his condition, please contact the Dog Warden in strict confidence on 07557 251669.

🏠 If unclaimed the dog will transfer to the ownership of Greenacres rescue on the completion of the statutory seven days under Pembrokeshire County Council.

💚 Unbelievably less than a third of dogs found ‘straying’ are claimed by their owners, meaning we have to step in to give those dogs a future. All unclaimed dogs, transfer into our care with no discrimination on age, breed or health condition. Supporting our work means we can always be there for the unwanted and abandoned.
