My overnight pet sitting calendar is now open until the end of May 2025! In the New Year I will open for June and July 2025 bookings.

Exisiting clients will get first priority to book for these months, and at a later date new clients can apply for any remaining dates.

The booking process:
1. Contact me to request the dates you require (if possible with approx. leaving and return times).

2. An "invoice for deposit" will be sent to you including a full quotation for the booking. A 50% deposit is requested which acts as a cancellation fee.

3. The full deposit must be paid within 7 days to secure this booking. The dates must be exact, and any later date changes will incurr a cancellation fee.

4. Should the deposit not be paid by the deadline, the dates can be offered to the next client in line.

Meet Freddie, a 14 week old Russian Blue Kitten who is the new addition to one of my long term families 🐱❤️ I looked after him, Monty (Labrador) and Nina (Dalmatian) for 9 days recently. Freddie is becoming confident around the house and starting to bond well with the dogs, and is very affectionate with new people 🥰 Monty and Nina were a joy to look after as always and we enjoyed lots of countryside and forest walks, with lots of ball throwing for Monty 🐶

🎆🎇Fireworks preparation and sedatives🎇🎆

It won't be long before bonfire night sneaks up on us.
Making preparations well in advance saves a lot of stress to both you and your pet.

Starting fireworks desensitisation even now can really help animals who are anxious or have never experienced fireworks before. Watch this video to learn more!

If your pet has a known noise phobia and even with desensitisation and other techniques, fireworks are likely to significantly affect their well-being, prescription sedatives may be appropriate for them.

We may be able to prescribe sedatives for your pet without them being seen for an appointment if all of the following apply:

🎆 Your pet has a known anxiety/nervousness/phobia that has already been discussed with the vet, especially if this has been managed successfully with sedatives before.

🎆 They have been recently physically assessed by us and deemed to be in good physical health with no identified risks to using sedatives. The annual health check performed at vaccinations usually satisfies this requirement.

🎆 We have a recent weight reading taken at the practice and their weight is expected to have remained stable since then.

These can be requested via our online repeat prescription service or over the phone with our reception team. If your pet does not fall into the above, we advise you to book an appointment well in advance of bonfire night to discuss a sedative plan with the vet.

I recently had a lovely long stay with these 5 🐾🥰 Dalmatian Bailey, Winnie a Romanian rescue dog, and cats Wilbur, Dinky and Edie 🐈 Me and the dogs had lots of fun at secure fields and going for countryside walks. Just spent a lovely week with these lively labradors; Cleo the black lab is now 3, and Skye the silver lab is 18 months 🥰 We had nice countryside walks, games in the garden and cozy evenings. We finished off the week with some time at Kenny Hill dog adventure Park which they both loved ❤️🐾🐶

Daily visits to cats Maisie, Tess and Oscar for feeding, medication, litter changes, grooming and lots of fuss. All 3 are rescues and have specific needs. Oscar is the newest to the family and this was the first time he’d had a sitter. He became more confident as the week went on. Maisie and Tess were more confident with new people and enjoyed being groomed, fussed and getting plenty of treats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈🐾 Should you need cat visits when you go on holiday can help with any feline care tasks needed. Meet Chucho; he’s a very sweet boy who is 9 months old and has recently been adopted into his new family. Meeka, a Tamaskan who I’ve looked after regularly for over 3 years is his new big sister, and they have really bonded well 🥰 Meeka now has a playmate and company all the time, so she’s happier and more content which was lovely to see. This was my first holiday sit for both of them; they had the best time running off-lead in some local secure fields .meadow.securedogfield and , and I really enjoyed my time with them ❤️🐶🐾

I had a wonderful week overnight sitting for Max, an 18 month old Cockerpoo. He’s a very sweet and gentle boy 🥰 He can be shy with new people and other dogs but he enjoyed joining my regular walks and making new friends. We finished the week off at so he could have a good run around off lead which he loved
