UK people, can you post the following on any of the dog or cat FB groups you belong to? Breeders, trainers, dog parks, groomers, whatever
Big campaign this weekend and we need as much publicity as possible

"Boarding kennels and catteries are a bit Marmite. But love them or hate them we are professionals licenced and regulated to take care of your pet while you can’t (do check that the establishment or sitter you use is licenced). Not only during your holidays but house moves, hospital stays or any other emergencies. We work closely with Social Services to take care of pets for people in need until they get back on their feet. So, for needs, we haven’t been required to close during this past year. Unfortunately we’re classed as part of agriculture so haven’t been eligible for much financial support. And it’s having a huge impact on our industry. Kennels and catteries are closing all over the UK. In the Isle of Wight there are 6 establishments 4 of which have closed already. And once they’re gone they may never come back. Planning regulations mean it is increasingly difficult to open new kennels or catteries
Why am I telling you this?
We are having a huge campaign this weekend involving as many media and social media outlets as we can. Keep an eye open for Dispatches on C4 and on Twitter.
