We have a few updates for you! We are still putting together our Fun Dog Show PAWS IN THE PARK coming up on Sunday the 5th of May, but we wanted to tell you about some exciting news!

Our generous friends at Star Linen Hire St Ives Cornwall will be sponsoring this years Show! A huge thank you to Steve and Simon for sponsoring Paws in the Park! meaning we can bring you a bigger and better show than ever :D The boys will be there with the famous Star Pugs on the day so keep your eyes peeled!

The fab team at Canine Skills Instructors will be judging the show on the day! Bringing tonnes of experience to the roles, Lucy and Keran will have the hard task of picking the winners!

We would love you to join us on Saturday the 11th of November for a walk to remember the animal victims of war. Meet at 10am for a 10:15am start to the walk. Starting and ending at The Rockpool, Gwithian.

Bring you dog or join us even if you don't have one!

The Rockpool will be open from 9am for coffees and breakfast before we head off! and have put on stalls for after.

The Art of sniffing is so very important.

We are often rushing from here to there, in a whirlwind of deadlines and clock watching. Instead of having an agenda of where you are going to walk your dog. Set a time to be out if you must but....
Go at the dogs pace, let your dog stop, let them 'World Watch' allowing your dog to go sniffing their pee-mails and gathering information about their surroundings helps your dogs feel calmer & more confident in their environment.

It's also an important life lesson for us too. Stop, look, listen & appreciate your environment more often, you'll be surprised what you notice too!

Just wanted to publicly say a massive thank you to all the team at Hayle Veterinary Surgery and especially Anny, for all their compassion, expertise and going above and beyond for all of our mixed bunch over the years, but in particular for their support over the difficult and emotional last couple of weeks.
We're lucky to have some amazing veterinary surgeries in Cornwall and finding the one that fits you and treats your pets as if they were their own is incredibly important and makes such a difference. Lucy x
