"Hi everyone! I’m appealing for help on behalf of a neighbour/local lady whose small dog unfortunately lost its leg yesterday after being brutally attacked by a bully breed dog on Loggans estate. Thanks to the bravery of our neighbours who heard the fall out outside of their property, and local lad (Connor Mullins) who was passing by at the time they were able to save the small dogs life, but unfortunately could not prevent injury due to the aggressive nature of the attack. Nevertheless these guys are absolute hero’s! The local shop on Loggans estate currently has a collection pot to help with the vet bills this poor lady has now incurred, due to this poor dog needing the rest of its leg amputated. So if you could donate anything please pop into the shop on Loggans estate or donate via the go fund me page! ❤️"

FEEDING RAW WITH HEALTH CONDITIONS

Raw food can still be a suitable option for doggies with health issues and special dietary needs. We have a selection of complete raw foods that have been designed specifically for doggies with health conditions that are being controlled by diet.

The main features of these foods are:

Low fat: these meals are all under 10% fat, some as low as 4.6%!

Low purine: While being an essential nutrient, incorrect processing of purine can cause dogs to develop stones in the urinary tract. This can be a common condition in Dalmatians.

Low phosphorus: A dog with kidney disease can get a build up of phosphorus as they are unable to filter it effectively. So feeding a low phosphorus diet will help alleviate the pressure on the kidneys.

It is important to always work along with your vet when adjusting your dogs diet.
