Chick update !

Yesterday I was a depressed mess, I found chick with all her legs bent upwards and tapped the enclosures to no movement. Throughout the day I kept checking and she was still there not moving when she used to come up to the front while I did feedings. In my checks last night and I was ready to freeze her because I definitely want her preserved, I noticed she was facing the other way ! I kept questioning myself about if she was that direction the whole time but her legs had gone back down. After a poke with a brush she is in fact ALIVE ! Chick lives another day. When I got her I knew they had a bad rep for dying in captivity so I honestly thought I’d only get to enjoy her for a month. But here she is over a year with me still being a little fluffy grump 🐣💛

Gandanameno sling update 🥹

Salt the cola has been out over a week now and still sporting Black chelicerae. Time will tell if this is a permanent colour. Usually they start going purple but no hints of colour yet. I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on her.
