It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely death of our beloved p***ycat, Max or 'Crookshanks' as many children had affectionately nicknamed him.
Max often acted out the role of 'concierge' at the cattery and we will all miss him dearly,
our cheeky boy leaves a massive hole in our lives and in our heart 💙

Hi everyone! I hope that you are all keeping cool 😎 just a small note to say that sadly we do have a power cut so we are unable to read emails or listen to the answer machine at this present time.
We have added tarpaulin to our roofs which has been very effective in providing much needed shade, each cat house has at least one cool gel mat and we are walking around the cattery continuously to monitor each one of our guests. So far, your babies are rocking this heatwave, far better than us humans!! Stay safe and cool 😎 the cuckfield cattery team ######

Since the easing of some restrictions across the UK, we have been so excited to see some of our friends return whilst their owners take a much needed break away.

"Our two cats stayed at Cuckfield Cattery for initially a week but that was extended as work was being carried out in our house. We could not ask for more from this service our cats are well rested and are super looked after. We are sent photos and updates on how they are doing as often as you like. Do you have a cat basket you no longer use that you could donate to the branch?

As part of the new 'Hands Free Homing' process introduced because of Covid-19, we have to leave the cat carrier with the new owner when we deliver the cat to them, which is an added expense for the branch (when no fundraising is taking place...) so if you have one you could donate we would be very grateful!
