This one will be known as Wispa’s Park, in memory of our much loved and forever missed chocolate lab, who would love to have shared his favorite snuffles with you all.

Looking for someone to help out on our livery yard in Balcombe on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Ideally morning and afternoon, but willing to be flexible.
Must be capable of handling all types of horses. Duties to include mucking out to a high standard, keeping the yard tidy and turning horses in and out.

A friend of mine needs someone to visit her puppy in Balcombe, let her out, feed and keep company for an hour on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 4.00/500pm-ish.

Good afternoon all!
For any of you who have struggled to find their dogs and small children in the long grass recently, you will be pleased to know that the ground has finally dried up enough to allow us to have a bit of a tidy-up! 😂😁 Roll on Summer! 🌞🐶
Also, for those of you booked in on Friday, Saturday or Sunday this week, please be aware that the South of England show is on at the Ardingly showground.
It is highly likely that traffic will be heavy on the lanes and local roads, so do allow yourselves a little extra time.

Good morning all!
Just a polite reminder of some of our Rules and Regulations that seem to be being overlooked at the moment!
Please pick up after your dog! There are numerous poo bag dispensers and bins in both fields, and signs to remind you to keep an eye on your dog. Most of you are very vigilant, but there is a small minority who spoil it for others.
On this note, please also make sure that the bins are used only for dog poo, and not general rubbish. Food wrappers, paper cups, bottles, tins, food etc. and anything else that is not dog poo needs to be taken home with you.
If paying by cash, please ensure that you write the surname of the person who made the booking on the front of the envelope, along with the date of the session. If paying by transfer, it is imperative that you reference with the surname of the person who made the booking and the date of the session you are paying for. Without this information, it is a real headache for us to try and match payments to bookings!

Just as an update on my previous post regarding the available field, thankyou all for your messages. I wasn’t expecting quite so much interest, and am a bit overwhelmed, but will get back to you all in time!
To elaborate a little:-
The field is not for sale.
It is about an acre in size.
It is not possible to drive up to or in to.
It is not to be sub-let.
There will be horses grazing nearby during the summer months.

Before I take all this fencing down and turn the field back over to horse grazing, would anyone be interested in having their own private field? It was previously used by a dog walker/boarder and needs some attention but I would be happy to do that.
Access is via a 5 minute walk which would need to be on-lead, and the fencing is only just under 5’ high.
Might suit a group of people who could share the cost? Would be looking at £90 per week to make it viable. Please PM if you would like any more information.

For those of you who come through Ardingly to access the fields, please be aware that the road is closed leading up to the church, so you will need to allow extra time to follow the diversion.

Looking for help on our livery yard in Balcombe. Ideally someone who would like livery in return. We can offer stabling, grazing, use of newly refurbished 20 x 60 floodlit school, good hacking, hay/haylage, straw and hard feed. In return, we would require someone capable of dealing with all kinds of horses, mucking out to a high standard, tidy and reliable. Hours negotiable.

For anyone accessing the fields from Balcombe direction, it looks as though the road could be closed today, on the hill going down towards the reservoir. You may need to allow extra time to go the long way round if necessary.
We will see if we can get any more information and keep you posted!
