Today we said goodbye to the wonderfully amazing Amelia who is leaving us for an exciting new opportunity! You all might have seen Amelia’s work, as alongside caring for all your wonderful pets, she is also our resident board artist, which are fab! Thank you Amelia for all your hard work and we wish you the best of luck with the future. We will miss you. I know Bubbles and all the other animals will miss you too!

We loved this idea of a Doggie Toy Library so much - we’ve brought it to Cherry Tree 🐾 Make sure you let your dog choose a favourite toy or dog friendly stick (whittled by our very own Gary) when they check in, or out of their stay. If you have any toys they are done with please add them to the collection. We spotted Tonic the Vizsla helping herself! Got to stand on the Great Danes shoulders to fetch that 🦒 giraffe toy tonic!

A very Happy Easter to you all - from everyone here at Cherry Tree🐣 We hope it brings you spring with no rain! (we would really like no rain 😉) Mishka and Honey were first out in our Easter Egg hunt - such a generous Easter Bunny too. Don’t panic, no real bunnies were involved and the eggs are dog choccy !🐣

Did you all watch the pawsome coverage of Crufts 2024 this weekend? Some of our team had an amazing time in Birmingham visiting this iconic canine event - testing out new products, learning more dog facts, and most importantly meeting lots of dogs! Here are some of our favourite guests, cousins of those who made it in to the world famous “best in show”. We think they all deserve to take the trophy home but celebrate the Austrian Shepherd and cheeky Jack Russell who made the podium !

Welcome to Cherry Tree ! I’m Jen, and I have been part of the business for over 30 years . Our team are so special & it’s an honour to work alongside them to care for your fantastic pets .

Outside of Cherry Tree it’s still all about the pets , my family currently share our house with 5 dogs, 2 cats, horses , geese , ducks , sheep - but there’s always room for more. I definitely take my work home !
Couldn’t manage the whole menagerie in this pic . So welly is on the left holding his sock , inu and s**a ,sausage dogs , have come for tea & bomber , our lovely 15 yr old lab is just waiting for us all to get off his sofa!

Hello! I’m Louise, and I have been working in Cherry Tree’s Reception since June 2022. You will find me on the front desk first thing in the morning making sure your pets feel safe and welcome at drop off.

Outside of work, I share my home with four special friends - Frank, Winnie, Potato and Cheddar. Frank is our wonderful rescue Labrador, Winnie is our 5am alarm clock Labrador, and Potato and Cheddar are our brother and sister Vizslador duo. They don’t ask for much! Just food, walks, cuddles, food and attention. I have an enormous amount of hands on experience with pets and look forward to looking after your pets and making sure they have everything they need during their stay with us.

💥 Bang 💥 Firework night is incoming. Good luck to all. Radios on loud , cuddles on the sofa - sometimes leaving the hoover running helps distract from the bangs! We are lucky at Cherry Tree that they are a distant sound for us. We wanted to trial the new silent rockets 🚀 but they never delivered … so a little bit of fun was had with our film star Rio, her ear defenders at the ready and our home made rockets. Good news!!! We are back on the mains and Loki is jumping for joy!!
