The aim of Leaps and Bounds Pet Care is to provide the best care your pet needs, whether you are away or simply need a helping hand. Each pet is treated just as though it is one of our own- with love and care. Where needed, only the best quality products are used that we trust. We had a quiet walk yesterday morning, so I thought I’d let the boys (Oscar and Riley) take the lead and follow wherever their noses took us. Although we often walk in the same spots, we always take slightly different routes to mix it up and keep things interesting. I loved the thought that they chose the route we took, and it was interesting to see which paths the boys wanted to take. It was nice knowing that we were going exactly where they wanted to go rather than me telling them. Miraculously they kept to the paths and even walked us right back to the van! Clever boys ☺️

I had a feeling these two would get on well, and so they did! Artie and Pip 🐶 🧡

#throwbackthursday to one of the first walks Parker and Artie had together. Within the group walks, there will usually be a couple or sometimes three dogs that will get on particularly well. This is usually because they have similar playing styles and energy levels, so they just sort of click! These two are each others ‘best pals’ on walks. They’re both full of energy, and love to play pretty much all the time! This walk is particularly memorable as I had brought a squeaky toy with me to use as a lure for recall! Parker was chuffed to bits with it and decided he had to race around showing it off 😂 I’ve turned the sound off as it was so windy, but you could hear the squelch underfoot too! A nice reminder of how lucky we’ve been recently to have such lovely weather, and how much everywhere has dried out. I’m very much looking forward to being able to mix up our dog walking routes again now it’s dried up, and also to see these two play again. Seeing the pups playing, running around, or having a solitary contented sniff genuinely makes me so happy and hopefully I’ll be able to do so before too long. We (Tills and I) hope everyone is well and safe and can’t wait to see you all soon 🐾🐶💙

With travel being limited during this time, it got me feeling very grateful that these beautiful bluebells are just a short walk away. I’m feeling so fortunate at the moment that we live in such a beautiful area. To those that haven’t got bluebells on their doorstep here’s a little snippet from our walk the other day in Bluntswood. This was the last little video I took before I had to stop work, I can’t believe its been over 2 weeks now. It was such a beautiful day and one of those walks where the pups seemed extra happy and they all just wanted to be near each other, just following along. What a great last walk hey! Sending love to all of the Leaps and Bounds puppas, cats, and creatures and of course their humans too ❤️

Safe to say we have achey feet but its been so worth it, it went really well and its so exciting to think that we even have enough furry paws to fill four walks! As always, thank you to our brilliant customers, we literally couldn’t have got where we are without you! 🐶🐱🐴🐢🐰🐹🦜

Our Story

The aim of Leaps and Bounds Pet Care is to provide the best care your pet needs, whether you are away or simply need a helping hand. Each pet is treated just as though it is one of our own- with love and care. Where needed, only the best quality products are used that we trust. Most of our dog walks are in wooded or rural spaces to provide fun and stimulation for your dog. After every dog walk each dog gets a treat, these are and always will be natural and grain free treats- not only are they tasty for dogs but healthy too! We have good knowledge on canine and feline health and nutrition and experience in caring for all sorts of animals, from fish to tortoises, chickens to hamsters! If you need some help with cleaning out, or if you need someone to pop in a couple of times a day while you’re away Leaps and Bounds Pet Care is here to help. We are fully insured and trained in canine first aid.


  • Prices start at £10 per one hour group dog walk. 1-2-1 and weekend walks are also available with advance booking.

  • Home visits are £8 for up to 30 minutes.

  • Day care is available starting at £15 for a half day.
