The Background
The Tartan Paw is a small business ba
sed in Derbyshire, England. Personally, I have never been without a dog and growing up I have been able to experience the love and bond with a number of breeds from Labradors to Beagles, Old English Sheepdogs to Scottish Terriers which is where I got a little bit hooked. I am now the proud companion of multiple Scottish Terriers, we train hard, play hard and compete in multiple disciplines. You are never finished growing with your dog, they love a challenge. In my former years I have worked as a groomer and qualified in microchipping, while I have also studied in Canine Behaviour and Canine Massage Therapy. Dogs love to be with us and working the bond is just as important and meaningful to them as it is us. However you choose to grow that relationship I am here to give you the tools and confidence you both need to succeed. Shop and Custom Creations! The Tartan Paw is here to support dog and handler from puppy to veteran, in life, training and even competition, I am here to help strengthen the bond between dog and handler by being right alongside you every step of the way. I offer 1to1 tailored training and group classes to support you and your dog in your journey, I use positive techniques for goal based training. Sessions can be held as full days or weekly appointments or just as and when, which ever works best for both of you. All of the training is a positive experience for you both based around rewards and enjoying your time together. You can request specific training requirements or behaviours to focus on and I will ensure you as a handler have all the relevant tools and knowledge to progress, including realistic goals and how to achieve them. The Dog Bakery! The Scott Pack and I have been working hard on expanding to include a Dog Bakery! Iโm baking theyโre tasting hahaha! If we are all going to work this hard there should be a fabulous reward at the end! All products are home-baked with all natural ingredients. Some of the products are wheat and gluten free and some arenโt, there is something for everyone. There are also lots of choices available for Birthday and Gotcha Day packages!
