Does anyone ever sit and wonder what their dog is thinking?! πβ€οΈ
Especially when they don't realise that they're being watched π
Here is Elmo with his face blowing in the wind, picking up all sorts of scents β€οΈ ππΎ
We hope you all have a lovely break this Bank Holiday weekend, even if the weather doesn't quite go to plan!
Have any of you ever witnessed a sandstorm? This is a first for Elmo and our JVP Ann recently, when visiting back home π
It was on a long stretch of beach when the tide was out, not too far away from Derry, on the stunning Inisowen coastline.
It came on suddenly on a windy day, with a strong wind gust. It was actually a very fine sandy mist, but when in motion, looked just like walking on moving ground!
Though of course Elmo didn't give one hoot, as long as he still had his ball ππβ€οΈ
Any cat owner, or anyone who works with cats, will appreciate this really fantastic piece of work for a cat carrier ππβ€οΈ.
We only caught a video at the end, and we didn't think it was fair to the poor cat to take her out of her safe haven again, after her nurse visit.
However even though the clip is short as a result, you can appreciate the absolute genius of a person who created this sliding invention. We had never seen it before! It's the simple things π
They clearly know that the vast majority of cats will not willingly go into a dark container, without having something to say about it π
Registered Veterinary Nurse Lisa was so impressed by this ingenious cat carrier, that she actually called us all in to see ππ
Meanwhile Coco was very bemused as to what an earth all the fuss was about π π»
Does anyone love looking back on lovely memories of their dogs as pups?! π
Post us some pictures, we'd love to see them β€οΈ
Here is Elmo's first ever wash. He was such a tiny wee tot! β€οΈπΎ
Really quietly now. Did you see her?!
Isn't she beautiful?! β₯οΈ
As it's so rare to see a wild deer in the woods, we only caught a quick glimpse, but she looked so happy - bounding away gracefully, in her natural habitat β₯οΈπΎ
Would anyone like some calm, in the craziness of the world around them?
Here you go β₯οΈπΎ
We wanted to share this video of Elmo's best mate, to pay tribute to the most beautiful-natured chocolate Labrador that ever lived β₯οΈ
10 year old Mocha crossed rainbow bridge not long after this video, after a short illness, but was one very loved dog.
He was one of Elmo's best friends here for some time now, and there was no room for anything other than tail wags and happiness with these two, every time they met.
Elmo makes us laugh checking half way through the video, that all his bits are in working order (π), but aren't they a happy pair?! π. Mocha was one of the most gentle souls.
RIP beautiful Mocha, we will not forget you β₯οΈπΎ
Don't you love the stunning blue colour from the blanket of bluebells in the woods around this time each year?
It's one of Elmo's favourite places to be π
Happy May Bank holiday everyone, send us some pictures of your dogs amongst the bluebells ππΎ
Has anyone seen a newborn pup at just 5 minutes old?!
Lovely locum vet Keeley delivered this little one from his mum Molly β€οΈ.
She needed a bit of vet help, after having 3 pups already, but they are now all healthy and feeding β€οΈπΎ
Now our Elmo does not do subtle, he is much better at direct πβ€οΈ
Does anyone else's dog like to give them a nudge when they're ready for their walk time?! π€£β€οΈππΎ
The effortless speed of dog reaction times, are really unbelievable! ππ
We reckon you need to play this treat-catching in slow motion, to properly appreciate it ππ
2 year old Patterdale terrier, Daisy, was very much a fan of this game β₯οΈπΎ
Gorgeous gentle Jasper is a senior boy at 13 years old β₯οΈ
He was hospitalised with us very ill last week with a severe chest infection. It took a fair bit of time for him to start to feel better, after a drip to take down his high temperature, but when he did and seeing him wanting to eat with a vengeance, it was very rewarding β₯οΈ
He is fully blind with cataracts as a result of his diabetes over the last 2 years, and an eye condition called Progressive Retinal Atrophy. However his nose for food is certainly still working without a problem as you can see ! ππΎ
Running out of January into February πβ₯οΈ
Happy February everyone π πΎ
Merry Christmas to all of you, from all of us, at Heanor Vets4Pets β₯οΈ
We hope you have a happy and peaceful one β¨π
For some of us, sad memories of loved ones also exist at this time of year - here is a compilation by our JVP Ann, with the help of Sammy and Stacey, to pay tribute to some of those special pet companions whom we have loved and lost at Heanor Vets4Pets this year π
Pets have been with us though various life experiences, and hold a special place in our hearts β₯οΈπΎ
5 year old Domestic short haired cat Biscuit, doesn't bat an eyelid at his vet visits, and took some time out to have a mosey around and good groom π π»
Isn't he a lovely lad β€οΈπΎ
