February update: what a busy month! 12 households; 2 new clients; 24 cats; 7 guinea pigs; 2 bunnies and wild birds/badgers all fed and cared for. In all, this amounts to 80 visits across the month!! No wonder I'm feeling shattered 😴

Looking forward to a few quiet days this week but feeling incredibly blessed to be trusted to look after so many of your gorgeous furry ones who bring me so much joy every visit. I've attached a few pics of this months clients so you can enjoy their fluffy faces just like I have 😻

And a little snapshot of the last month! New and repeat clients, thyroid and stomach meds administered, new guinea pigs and amazing fish pretty much sums up this wonderful monthly montage of gorgeous furry ones. Really hoping I see them all again soon and I know I will for some of them as they are already booked in 😻

Sorry for my lack of updates but it's been an incredibly busy couple of months with the cat sitting! First up was this gorgeous multi pet household that I looked after previously in January for a weekend but I had two weeks this time of twice a day feeds including thyroid meds for one of the cats. It was lovely to see the shyer two come out of their shells as the days passed and to get to know all their characters. This sit included shopping for veggies and hay for the bunnies and prepping their food twice a day along with making sure the cats were all happy, fed and fussed over. I miss seeing all of their gorgeous faces!! 😻

***** Stray cat found - Please share ****

We have been brought a stray cat that has been found wandering in a garden in Heathfield in the last week or so. They are not chipped, are neutered and probably quite elderly. If you are the owner or know who they might belong to, please call the surgery on 01435 864422. Proof of ownership will be required.

3 gorgeous felines, two beautiful bunnies and eight of the cutest guinea pigs. All these 13 furbabies belong to one adoring household and it was my absolute pleasure to look after them all recently. It was like having my very own animal sanctuary to go to for a couple of days. I've looked after some of these furbabies pre Covid but they had several new additions which it was a pleasure to meet and I get to see them all again later this year too. I really do have the best job ever!!

Just some more of the beautiful furbabies I've been looking after over the last month. 2 repeat clients and one new client. Its been a pleasure getting to revisit Alfie & Betty and meet Sebby & Livvy. I've got a fair few bookings coming up over the next month and the holidays are already filling up (with some August dates already full!) so do get in early if you think you'll need me!

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of looking after my largest multi pet household to date. 4 gorgeous felines and 5 beautiful indoor bunnies. Two of the cats were a little nervous as it was only for an initial 4 feeds so they were just starting to get used to me by the time I last fed them but I have a longer stretch booked in later this year when I'm hopeful I'll get the same amount of affection as I did from the other 2 furbabies!

Just had to share this picture that I spotted in one of my clients houses this week. If you zoom in, you'll spot that it's made up of lots of pictures of the gorgeous Charlie and my client has just told me that it's mostly made up of the pictures I send to them when I visit. Just blown away. How unique!! 😍

The three gorgeous boys I've had the pleasure of looking after over half term. All repeat clients but one I hadn't seen for a couple of years. These three are all so affectionate, loving their fuss and cuddles and make my job an absolute pleasure. Who wouldnt want to cuddle these gorgeous faces!!

My second visit to this handsome boy recently. We had a lovely week together and he was around a lot more now its cooled down than he was in the Summer, so I got to spend a lot more time making a fuss of him and getting to know his character.

Sadly a recent cat sit for a new Client had to be cancelled as the cat became unwell only a few days before the owner was due to go away. Emergency vet bills, cancellation of their break and the owners birthday all came at once so I popped into my local Florist The Flower Workshop Heathfield to buy a little gift to cheer the owner up and what else should I find but kitty grass, it was just meant to be! So her kitty got a little treat too. Wishing you a speedy and full recovery Harry 🐈 xx

Spent a few days with these lovely guineas recently. All rescues and braver everytime I visit. They loved their daily veg, keebles, hay and water top ups as much as I loved hearing their cute excitable chatter when I arrived each day!

Wow what a 6 weeks it's been. I've just calculated I've carried out 119 feeds over the Summer Hols. 119!! It's been a pleasure seeing all my lovely regulars and one gorgeous new cat client too.
Please get any holiday dates in early as I probably won't be taking on so many over the next school holidays.......as lovely as its been to have so many cuddles!

Lovely new client looked after over the weekend. I only got to meet him once as clearly he had found a cool spot somewhere that was more appealing than me!
I'm afraid I'm now fully booked for August but have a lovely friend who is taking on any bookings that I can't manage so do message for details.
