I love my job, but I never realised at the beginning that I would have to face loss more than others.
This week we have lost two very special dogs from our doggy gang.
Wanda and Stella, dogs I have walked and loved for over 7 years.
Sweet dreams both of you, happy pain-free walkies in the sky for now ❤️

Sorry for the lack of posts, we’ve been busy having too much fun!!
Now the weather is improving it’s such a pleasure to be out in it with my furry pals ❤️

This truck may be expensive to keep but it covers absolutely all jobs I need it to do, now with the it’s fantastic in the winter and summer.
I never missed a day walking in the winter with all the snow and now in the summer the dogs can have all the windows open and be lovely and cool.
I’m so pleased with it, it helps me be a reliable and comfortable ride for my four legged friends! 🛻

Ozzy and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and we want to wish you a very Happy New Year!
We are looking forward to getting back to work on Monday the 2nd, it’s a bank holiday but if you need me I am about!

Guess who’s back?! Back in town!! Back with his friends 🖤🐾🥹😍
Ozzy got signed off from the vets yesterday evening, the grafts on his cornea are working, they are draining away the fluid that is causing the ulcers. He is ulcer free and pain free for the first time since May!!!!
A massive thank you to all that helped and donated money to enable me to help my friend ❤️

Please check all doggies for grass seeds as soon as you get home, it’s unavoidable and I try my best to get the majority out before dropping home.
Check eyes, paws, ears and generally fur as they get everywhere!

Alarm set… 😳 got to be at the specialist vets in Portsmouth at 7.30am tomorrow morning for Ozzy’s surgery, I love this boy so much 😍

I think unfortunately I will not be walking Monday and Tuesday as it’s not right to take the dogs walking in this heat. I will be offering garden visits to be with the dogs for half an hour and make sure they toilet and all waters are topped up.
I will contact everyone, but do let me know what you need for Monday and Tuesday and hopefully Wednesday we can get out for some fun walks again!

Not a good vet visit today. 👎🏻
Looks like surgery will be happening sooner than I thought.
The ulcers two weeks ago were pin prick sized, today they are bigger again, right in the centre so affecting his vision 😭😭😭
I’ve got to get my boy out of pain 💔

Please keep an eye open for ticks, I have removed three in the past week.
Get yourself a cheap tick puller like these as it will remove the entire tick including the head.

Ozzy update from yesterdays appointment.

The antibiotics need to continue for another two weeks as the ulcers are still hanging on causing the pain. They are smaller so that’s positive. Another appointment in two weeks.

The medication for the cornea edema continues until they are no longer keeping up with the amount of fluid the eye is producing.
£100 for the tiny tube 😵‍💫

Surgery is still on the table as the solution. 🤦🏻‍♀️

So four times a day, two lots of drops, we continue!

Ozzy was a competition winner!!

He won a photo competition run by

A DIY dog wash place that allow you to wash your dog and leave them with the mess, we go regularly to keep Ozzy smelling sweet! They are based at near Halland, Sussex. They also have a groomer there so if you fancy avoiding the job completely or your pooch needs a new style it’s all under one roof!
