So here it is the end of 2024 for K9 Room and what a year it has been.

I want to say a massive thank you to our wonderful dogs, thank you for coming in every week with your different personalities and making this daycare what it is. You guys make me laugh, give me cuddles and a good lick everytime I bend down to pick up your poos. You all make every 5:30am alarm, 10 hour shift, really smelly poo and body slam completely worth it. My daycare dogs are really amazing and I feel so lucky to know you all, to be in your lives and take care of you.

Thank you to my amazing staff, Toni, Caitlin, Hazel, Gemma and Ellie. You guys work exceptionally hard to keep K9 Room going every day. I simply couldn’t do it without your brilliant ideas, caring nature and support. Our dogs are lucky to have you.

Thank you also to all my amazing human clients. Thank you for all your loyalty this year and for bringing your dogs to us. Your support is so appreciated and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

I’ll enjoy my two weeks off but I’ll still be thinking about all my four legged friends. Spoil them rotten, they absolutely deserve it. See you in 2025 - Abi 🐶

⭐️STAR OF WEEK ⭐️ The definition of a happy go lucky boy, be who is simply happy to do anything that involves other dogs, treats or cuddles. He’s been a brilliant addition to K9 room and we love his friendly nature that makes it so easy for him to make new friends. Well done little lad 🐶

We’ve had a few salt-dough decorations left on reception (our Christmas craft) if anyone wants to pop in and get them feel free! I will keep them over Christmas so they can be used next year instead.

Thank you to everyone who wore Christmas jumpers and donated to Foxhound Welfare UK today. We’ll keep the donation crate and cash bucked on reception this week if anyone would like to contribute. Ava is truly an amazing dog, to have come so far from when she was first rescued to now is an amazing journey in itself. She is an exceptionally playful girl, one who with out a doubt will make your dogs feel welcome at daycare. She greets every new dog with play bows and helps them fit in at daycare, showing them how fun it can be. While new people can be nerve wracking for her, once she trusts you it is an absolute honour and a privilege to be loved by her. To give back to the people who brought her here and to help dogs just like Ava in their time of need is the least we can do when she has brought us all and our K9 room dogs so much joy 🐶

⭐️STAR OF THE WEEK⭐️ It can be tricky for all dogs joining a new daycare hut this wonderful girl has taken it in her stride and welcomed the opportunity to meet new dogs and make new friends. She’s settled in so well and it’s wonderful to see her so excited to come in the door. She’s definitely one of our most loving girls, wanting a good cuddle with the staff whenever she gets the chance and we’re totally here for it. Well done you fabulous girl 🐶🐾

That’s a wrap on another week at K9 and it’s been a blast as usual. Thank you to all the dogs who have joined us this week. Our dogs are simply the best and we have enjoyed every cuddle, face lick and even the body slams we get when we come back from our breaks. We have two weeks left to cram in as many games, bubble gum moments and cuddles as we can get so we’ll be making the most of it. Join us this weekend for our Christmas Market, grab your free puppacinos and mulled wine so we can thank you all for giving us a brilliant year 🐶🐾
