Sinter 2024.
Fantastic event. I had a class with Meropi Toumbas making an amazing ring (not yet polished to photograph).
Met so many old friends and I had the opportunity to finally meet Facebook friends of so many years and to make new friends.
Fantastic lectures with well known artists. So much learned!!!!
The Gala dinner was very entertaining and fun.
All the organisers and their helpers couldn't have worked any harder. Thank you to all for giving us such a good and amazing time.

Bronze Metal clay class.
Friday 1st March & Saturday 2nd March 2024.
This is a two day class due to the long firing schedules of base metals. Some basic experience of working with metal clays will be an advantage.
In this class we will cover the same techniques as used with silver metal clay but using bronze clays.

Yesterday's my one to one class with a new student was most enjoyable. She came to my studio to make one pendant and finished to get more clay and make two and a little charm. She is only a beginner and she learned many techniques which were used to make these beautiful pieces. Well done Samantha.

Made of .999 Silver Metal Clay and a fired in place stone. Nano Gem, Paraiba Tourmaline.
I named it "Crocodile Tears".

This was my first commission of 2023.
In memory of a friend's beloved pet Nolly.
These earrings were made in .999 Art Clay Silver and two glass cabochons containing Nolly's ashes provided by the pet's Mum.

These are just a few pieces made by some of my students who attended my Techniques silver clay 6 week course , finished today.
On this course they learned many basic techniques. These skills will enable them to create a varied selection of pieces and, should they be inclined to do so, to take their first Silver Clay Diploma.
I am very proud as everyone worked very hard to achieve these results in just half day per week.
My next six week course will start in March 2023.

This ring is made of .999 Silver clay and I set a Cubic Zirconia stone - Apatite.
This stone reminds me of the beautiful sea colour in some of the Greek Islands.
