As Christmas is approaching we thank our customers for their loyalty and support over the years and sometimes you do the same with a small gift.

This year we kindly ask to give to the dogs who need it most at our local Dumbarton SSPCA. Most of you will remember Annabel who now works at the centre and says blankets, dog food and stimulation toys like Kongs are greatly needed.

Salon update ‼️

As some of you may know - Annabel is leaving and hanging up her grooming clippers after over 6 years (with a mini break) at Tartan Tails and we will miss her!

My priority is with my customers on my diary that I have been grooming for a long time. And as you can imagine I am not able to take on another full diary of dogs- there just isn’t enough hours in the day.

I do understand how important it is to you as dog owners to having a groomer who you feel comfortable and fully trust to look after your beloved fury family member. That is why I will only hire another groomer that is of our standards at Tartan Tails which right now none are available.

Please be understanding that we do appreciate your loyalty and should anything change any pre- existing customers will have full priority.

That being said to my original clients…..
I will be tightening up the salon regulations around appointments.

As I have turned away over hundreds of dogs to ensure you have a space in the diary. The only thing I ask is
• To give 24 hours cancellation notice
• Turn up on time and collect your dog on time
• Remember to pay if doing so by bacs
• Book appointments in advance ( it is your responsibility to book dates)
• Brush your dog and keep up appointments to maintain coat
• Check for fleas

There is a blanket policy - Less than 24 hours cancellation and late appointments £20 fee will apply to everyone.
Dogs with fleas - grooming process will stop immediately and will be charged full amount of groom. Please see Flea Policy for full explanation.
