Woofingtons Dog Care Based in Helmshore, I offer your furry friend the perfect way to exercise in a safe environment. Additional dogs from same household charged at £6 per dog.

wef January 2024 - 1 hour group session £12 including pickup/drop off from Helmshore/Haslingden. Home Boarding charges wef January 2024:
1 dog £25 per night
2 dogs (same household) £45 per night


Registered with Rossendale Borough Council for boarding under Licence Number AWL026. We hold a licence to board 5 dogs including any resident dogs.

Due to the recent snow, this is the first Monday group since before Christmas and I think Heidi has grown 🤣 Perhaps it was just the speed that she came charging down the field towards me, but I needed eyes in the back of my head 🤣🤣

Another beautiful day and once Sid had finished ‘wearing’ the frisbee 🤣 we had a lovely game of fetch.

Colin turned his attention to Toffee who decided to play hard to get (until she rolled over onto her back) 😱🤣🐾

Wednesday and there was definitely a sense of spring in the air (but then it’s only January and last week was a blanket of white ❄️🤷‍♀️)

Anyway, there was a romance between Colin & Doris and a definite bromance between Freddie & Dexter 🤣

It was great to be back after the extended break, however now the snow has thawed, we now have very muddy paws 😬

As you may have seen a few weeks ago, Betsie had her puppies and they are now looking for their forever homes.

Maltipoo puppies. One red boy, one red girl and one platinum boy 🐾

Mum can be seen and they come from a very loving home. Ready to go from 21st January.

Well that’s Woofingtons done for 2024. It’s not been the easiest of years for us and ended in us loosing our beautiful boy Sunny😢

We did however get ‘The Boys’ immortalised as The Peaky Beagles which now hangs proudly on the wall in our home🐾

Thank you to each and every one of our customers who entrust their precious pooches to us on either a weekly basis or to stay whilst they are away on holiday 😎, without your support we wouldn’t be able to do what we love most (surround ourselves by dogs) 😊

Wednesday started with Lando trying to catch Doris but even when he takes the shortcut, he still has no chance of catching her 🤣

Apologies to anyone whose dog was a little smelly when you got home, obviously there had been some 🦊 activity in the night. Douglas had to have a bath before going home and Rocco and Buster were both thrown in the shower before being allowed on the sofa 🤣 Perhaps that will teach them a lesson but I’m guessing not 🤷‍♀️🐾

No Thursday working for me as I’m off to Edinburgh for a couple of days and bringing Georgia back for Christmas 🎅🏻

Chase is on Tuesday but then just look at Colin’s face when he unwittingly hands over control of his ball 🤣 No way is he getting that back from Ruby 🤣🤣

I thought Stella was giving Rocco big hugs, which was so cute 🥰 and then I realised !! Stay away from girls like that Rocco, they’re trouble🤣🐾

These pooches are the best medicine ❤️
Sophie & Scout were giving me the best cuddles 😊
Whilst Rocco and Buster were chasing someone who dared to walk up the side of their field, a rabbit ran out from the hedge and escaped, but as they are scent hounds they didn’t realise it’s lucky escape and were happily doing what Beagles do best🤣. Did make me smile as Sunny also enjoyed the chase (human and rabbit) 🐶

Lando is back on the field as part of the Thursday crew and it’s lovely to see him 😊 Must say he was very excited when I opened the door to pick him up 🤣
He spent his time chasing Sid (who was just interested in chasing his ball) or trying his luck with Lottie (and I must say, she quite liked the attention) 🥰

Betty spent her time showing off her very fine spotty botty 🤣

Finally, new toy day but Scout seemed more interested in trying to eat one of my trees instead 🫣

If anyone has noticed, Lottie’s little sister Betsie hasn’t been on the field for a few weeks😢 But I’m happy to say I got to see the reason why yesterday. She is now the proud mummy of 5 gorgeous little pups 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 Congratulations Betsie they are gorgeous 🥰
