I’ve decided to dedicate Wednesday’s to social media days now! I thought i’d share this photo of cheekie little Georgie posing for a pic whilst having her hooves done.

Just as the correct balance and trim is important to me, so is making sure that the horses are happy and relaxed when I am trimming. After working with so many different horses, from 6 month olds to 32 year olds, I have learnt that the horse will tell you whether they are happy or unhappy and it is so important that we listen to them and respect them and their boundaries!

Horses are such intelligent creatures and that’s why I love to be around them so much! ❀️🐴

It’s been a while since I last posted on here but I thought I would show you the before and after of one of my pony’s hooves after a much needed trim. Phantom has had a very weird looking laminitis stretch growing out for some time now, but as of a couple of days ago she was ready to drop most of it and it is looking absolutely beautiful. She still has a bit more to go but soon enough that wedge should be out! 🐴☺️

After the wind brought down some ash tree branches, we pulled them into our tracks for the horses to forage. They certainly enjoyed themselves! 🐴❀️
