One of my favourite days of the year today; beaters day at our favourite shoot. No pressure and the old boy, Baby Juke, was allowed to run riot. He's enjoyed it even more than I have! Young Gem has really impressed me again today, her nose is second to none! Very reluctant to sell her as she'd make a cracking team member 🤔

Tally and Gem are in season (🤞 for Tally 🐾🐾), Edward is on hunger strike (due to the previous 🙄), so Henry, Elf, William and Juke joined me today for a lovely day out. Not wanting the season to end this year!

Baby Juke has decided that retirement sucks and he'd like to come back to work part-time! It's been great to have him back on the team today. I've missed him terribly 😔
He hurt his cruciate ligament on the last day of the last season, and being 12, with bad hearing, I decided that he would have to stay home. I have missed him every day this season so today thought "sod it!". We've both had the best day 😊

What a busy weekend the Maplecrest team had at Living Heritage Country Shows Cheshire Game Fair!
I was joined by Elfin, William, Juke and Tiny Tim, with Bob Marie Bowes as my fantastic support team!
Bob and Marie joined me for demos in our ring with their fab yellow labs, Echo, Cody and young Chloe. We've never had such a crowd watching ☺️
Some lovely people with some even lovelier dogs came in the ring to iron out problems, learn new skills and have fun!
That's it for our Gundog Clinics this season, but hope to be out again next year.
Time for the real thing now until February!

What a wonderful weekend we've had running the Gundog Clinic at Living Heritage Country Shows new event in Warwickshire! The arena we had to work the dogs in was fantastic which gave us the opportunity to set up some challenging retrieves. I was lucky to be joined by amazing helpers Bob Marie Bowes who got to show off their dogs hunting skills, doing many demos for me throughout the weekend. The weather was beautiful and the company was the best 😊

Maplecrest Nero "Henry" is officially beautiful 😊 He got placed 'Reserve' in the Labrador Field Trial Class and 2nd in the BASC Working Gundog class at Crufts yesterday.
Phoebe also took him in the Young Handlers class and did really well.
