What a wonderful weekend we've had running the Gundog Clinic at Living Heritage Country Shows new event in Warwickshire! The arena we had to work the dogs in was fantastic which gave us the opportunity to set up some challenging retrieves. I was lucky to be joined by amazing helpers Bob Marie Bowes who got to show off their dogs hunting skills, doing many demos for me throughout the weekend. The weather was beautiful and the company was the best 😊

Henry got a 3rd at the Vale of York's Open test at an amazing ground at Wykeham yesterday. The tests were challenging so I was more than pleased with a third.

Maplecrest Nero "Henry" is officially beautiful 😊 He got placed 'Reserve' in the Labrador Field Trial Class and 2nd in the BASC Working Gundog class at Crufts yesterday.
Phoebe also took him in the Young Handlers class and did really well.

The Maplecrest team are home after our first Gundog Clinic of the Game Fair season. I was joined by Juke, William, Jasper and Henry who ran in the Challenge and qualified for the finals at Sandringham. Sunday was a great day with some really interesting visitors to the clinic and beautiful weather. Monday (my birthday!) was rather difficult weather-wise, with driving rain and high winds trying their best to flip the marquees! The Living Heritage Walk Up Shoot demo should have been rescheduled as a Christmas tree race as the brashings were racing across the areana faster than the dogs 😆
Fun was had by all and despite the vile weather, we had a great weekend spent in great company ❤️
