Many of you may remember Bert, the cheeky goat who was rather poorly earlier this year….
Unfortunately Bert couldn’t stay out of trouble, a silly climbing decision left him with a broken leg.
After 6 weeks in a cast and on bed rest, several complications and set backs, it was wonderful to receive this video of Bert getting his groove back on four legs. Picture of avert showing off his fancy pink wrapped cast added in the comments!
I think that’s now enough mischief for one goat Bert!
🐄 Being the first person to see a calf and it’s heartbeat will always be one of my favourite things to do. 🐄
Our scanner can link up to a mobile phone enabling us to show our clients what we are seeing when conducting fertility visits. From good news, like in this cow, with a positive PD, to explaining problems if they arise the ability to show what we are seeing is proving invaluable.
🐑🐑
It was an absolute pleasure to assist in the birth this beautiful Ram lamb yesterday.
Molly was AI’d with some rather special, ‘old’ pedigree seman from a flock which no longer exists. This means this chap will be vital in helping increase the genetic pool for the pedigree Cornwall & Devon Longwools!
