Our play park is looking very pretty with all the autumn leaves but this presents a challenge in that it is difficult to find dog poo, so we would ask that you keep an eye on your dog at all times and pick up after your dog. Failure to do so makes it very unpleasant for other users of the park who then have to deal with this when the result ends up in the interior of their cars.

Thank you.

PLASTIC CARRIER BAGS. Please do not use carrier bags to pick up poo in the park, we have to decant the poo into compostable bags in order to dispose of the contents. Please only use bags specifically for dog poo.

We would like to make clear our policy with regard to bookings in the park. We are very aware of the safety of both humans and dogs in the park and after having carefully considered the space and equipment in the park, we are confident that 4 humans and 4 dogs are the maximum numbers the park can sustain for everyone to have a fun time.

The birth of Wild at Hart Dog Play Park

People often ask us how the idea of the park was conceived, well...…...…….

My husband bought the land as a business investment and we then adopted an English Setter called Jack from a rescue in Spain, thinking that we knew about hunting dogs, well, the dog is unlike any other hunting dog we have ever known! We can’t let him off lead, because once off lead the world is his oyster and he doesn’t want to listen to us, despite training, so doesn’t come back when called. The park is our saviour because Jack can exercise and have fun without any risk of him escaping. We thought that if we had these types of issues with our dog, there must be other people struggling with a much loved pet so we opened the park to anyone who has an issue with their dog. Its fair to say dogs with no issues also visit us, the more the merrier, and so Wild at Hart was born and is very successful.
