This week I found out that Jess, an ex ‘Waggy Walker’ has sadly crossed over Rainbow Bridge🌈💔Jess was a crew member for approx 5 years & she was the most happy gentle black lab, loved all her friends, was ball crazy & loved her walks🐾💖Over the last few years Jess was in the care of Helen & Charlotte from Care n Cuddles who gave Jess the most fun walks with lots of love thrown in💖❤️From the 3 of us, sending love to Jonny & Rubble on the loss of their special little Lady, Jess❤️💖❤️

💔In light of the recent tragic events, from us here at Waggy Walks, we send our sincere & deepest condolences to the Hunt family on the loss of 3 beautiful women, Carol, Hannah & Louise, in what can only be described as the most horrific tragedy💔

🐾The Canine Industry is a very close community in Bushey, we all help & look out for each other & Louise was part of this, we all have clients who used her dog grooming services, who spoke very highly of her & her caring ways, a passion for the love of her dogs….& they loved her back🐾❤️🐾

💔3 lives taken so cruelly from a community that will never forget such an horrific crime💔

POST EDIT - ❤️Thank you all so much for your kind words asking how we are❤️The ‘girls’ & I are fine, Jessie has recovered remarkably well from her ordeal & her injuries, both her & Bumble are back out on their daily walks enjoying life🐾🩷My crew are, & always will be my number one priority, in 9 years of being a dog walker & 20+ years of being a dog owner I have never had to experience a vicious dog on dog attack & pray I never will again🙏
Many of you have asked if I can say where this happened, we were just heading to one of our regular weekly walks along The Ebury Way, a walk both myself & the dogs love, Jessie was attacked on the roadside of Riverside Rd/Colne Ave, sadly I would not feel safe taking them on this walk any longer😢Thank you all again🥰

🩷These 2, my little Hero’s🩷Best friends who form part of the little legs gang from the Waggy Walks crew, out & about today enjoying time with the rest of their pals🐾

On Monday they were victims of a dog attack that no dog walker would ever want to witness😢whilst getting out of the van we were approached by a dog who had escaped from its house, owner unaware, Jessie & Bumble were this dogs targets, Jessie took the full force of the attack, being thrown around like a rag doll, her cries were the worst sound to hear, puncture wounds to her neck & popping of her eyelid😢In a split second Bumble managed to escape, she was gone for 20 minutes, she had run down the riverbank & I later found her hiding in the base of a tree.
Attacking dogs owner still nowhere to be found😡who by now was trying to get in the van crate, the only way of containing the dog was to trap its head & front legs in the side sliding door & shout out for help …this dog was intent on killing!
Police were called & incident reported, but as it was a dog on dog attack & no persons injured it won’t get taken any further🤬The dog & owner are able to carry on in this way whilst the poor dog victim is left to recover from the most traumatic experience of her life😢
As a dog walker it’s something I would never want to experience again, the sounds from the attack & the fear of Jessie being mauled were horrendous.
🩷🥰They are my little hero superstars who have both bounced back to their happy playful selves🩷🥰
