Delighted to be back at Bolesworth International 2024!
🌟 of the show has to be 8 year old Quasco van de Broushoeve jumping 3/3 double clears in the 1* 1.25s and had a placing in the final today, jumping the biggest he’s ever jumped, so nice to have had him since a 4 year old!
So many people to thank, Erin Kelly for all your help at the show - her first time grooming at a show - and it happened to be at an International!
Julia Kingston-cox for managing the livery yard at home.
Guy Goosen Showjumping for all his training + support!
Looking forward to week 2!

So pleased with 8 year old Quasco van de Broushoeve, he has jumped only clear rounds at Chepstow International, finishing his show today with a 9th place in a tricky 1.25 🚀

Thanks as always to the team at home, especially Julia Kingston-cox for keeping it all on the road!
An amazing show in Wales 🏴 with my two horses.
🔸Dorien jumped 2 classes, 8th in the 1.30 and 6th in the 1.40, which meant so much to me!
🔹Quasco van de Broushoeve double clear in the 1.25 day 1, rider four fault day 2 and day 3 double clear in the 1.20 Grand Prix and 8th!
Video of Quasco in the jump off of his Grand Prix, I’ve been working so hard on his rideability, what a horse he’s turning into!
I balance competing alongside running a livery yard, which is by no means easy, but when you have horses like this it’s worth every hour!
(You also know you’ve had a good show when the commentator mentions it, at the end of the video 😂)
Really looking forward to the season ahead!

An amazing show at wales so far ⭐️
🔹Dorien 55 placed yesterday in the 1.30, and DOUBLE CLEAR in the national 1.40 today and 6th place!! (with time faults in the first phase). Check out the end of the video to see the celebration - a sad life I lead but this really meant the world to me.
🔸 Quasco van de Broushoeve double clear in the 1.25 yesterday, one down today but my fault - so pleased with how this little guy is going now!
Couple of mentions, even though there are so many, Jem Bentley for all the dressage training and helping me so much, Guy Goosen for all the show jumping training and support.
All the yard team who looks after the yard at home (Julia Kingston-cox and Katie, Erin, Lucy, Lara) and a shout out to Charlie Kingston-cox for all her help at this show and well done to her for also stepping up her horse this show!
So delighted to be back outdoors after the winter we’ve had, I was waiting for a bit of sunshine before I stepped up both the horses!
⭐️ 8 yo Quasco van de Brouswhoeve 4 faults in his first 1.30
⭐️ Dorien 55, clear in the 1.30 and 4 faults in our first 1.40 in a while, so grateful to Dallas Burston Polo Club for running these training shows and at 1.40 level too.

Busy week at the livery yard, riding, teaching and getting my horses ready for Addington Winter Classic!
Fortunately it paid off with 3 clears (but a few time faults from the jockey 🐌)
🐴 Quasco clear in the foxhunter where he made it feel super easy, looking forward to stepping him up this year,
🐴 Good Girl 🏵️ in the foxhunter
🐴 Dorien clear in the B and C but time faults kept us out the jump off 🙄

A busy couple of days for some of the team!
📚 On Thursday I taught 2 lovely clients based at mine Georgia Windmill + Charlie Kingston-cox for training sessions at Solihull, both have worked so so hard these past few months and delighted with how it’s all paying off as both jumped absolutely super.
🌟 Then I took my 2 horses to Onley Friday, Quasco jumped a great round in the 1.25, stepping up really well and Dori was double clear again in the 1.30!
Check out some of our rounds below ⬇️ looking forward seeing where hard work takes us all for the rest of the year!

Thanks to the team for helping at home for their help on the floor! We have 15 horses in at the minute, a mixture of holiday, full and schooling liveries. It really takes a great team to enable me to keep competing, thanks so much Charlie Kingston-cox + Lucy Awdry for today and everyone else for their help during the week!
