🐴HORSE WANTED🐴

We are on the hunt for a big, weight carrying horse (16.2hh and above) to join our small riding school team.

Must be suitable for beginners but ideally have a bit to offer for a more experienced rider as well. Must hack well alone and in company and be happy living out in a herd.

We are ideally looking for something to buy or loan, however working livery may be considered under the right arrangement.

Our riding school horses have a relatively easy life and are very well looked after so a 5* home awaits!

🇯🇵🏅 Olympians at CEC 🏅🇯🇵

Next Wednesday 17th we will be hosting the Japanese Olympic eventing team for some dressage practice from 10am -2pm (break at 12pm).

We would like to welcome everyone to come and watch, but strictly NO PHONES or cameras!

Please spread the word as they would like as many spectators as possible to create a comp atmosphere.

🎉 New British Record alert! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Aron Sebesteny who this weekend broke his own Senior Record on the Original Kassai System at the first of 2 competitions this year to be held at Checkendon Equestrian Centre 🤩

The new Senior Record now stands at 121.68 😍

In memory of Flyte and Pepsi 🤎🤍

Over the last month, we have very sadly had to say goodbye to two of our much loved riding school horses due to old age and ongoing medical issues.

Aged 25 and 27, Flyte and Pepsi have been a cherished part of our riding school team for many years and will be sorely missed by all of us at CEC.

I’m sure many of you will have fond memories of at least one, if not both these lovely horses and we would love for you to share any stories or photos in the comments 🦄
