The Henley Mobile Veterinary Service

I started this new home-visiting veterinary service for pets in Henley-on-Thames and surrounding areas in order to be able to see animals in their own home environment where they are more relaxed and stress-free than in a clinic. Many people find bringing their pet to a clinic a time-consuming process which does not always result in the animal demonstrating the same signs of illness as it does at

home. By visiting them at home, I can understand more fully how the animal relates to its home territory. With over thirty years' experience of zoo animal and wildlife in my career, and having treated animals in a wide variety of situations in different countries, I can bring that experience and knowledge of the natural biology of the animal to help domestic pets live a longer and happier life. So much of what we take for granted in the pet world as 'normal' or 'necessary' in fact are not real requirements of the animal at all, but things that we as owners have attributed to the general field of pet care. I can visit your home, examine your animal, deliver treatment and perform a few simple procedures in your home at your convenience - all without stressing your pet unnecessarily.
