So lovely being sat behind these ears again ❤️

The gorgeous Roos first time back properly under saddle since his bone bruise back in September.

Little wander up the road and back and he felt fab! So much straighter and he’s obviously grown as it was less like riding a slide 🛝🤣

A few photos from today’s fabulous GJE clinic! 💪🙌

Some new and old faces showed today and was lovely bringing on some wonderful horses and their riders.

Such a smart group of tbs that’s I’m excited to see competing this year that are Some lovely examples of such a versatile breed 🐴

Thank you to everyone who came and gave it a go! You’re all stars, even the ones who accomplished the little wins today!

Only one tumbler which means extra cake for the next clinic Witchy Love 🤣 (hope you’re not too sore ❤️‍🩹)

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 HATTERALL MONTE CARLO 🇬🇧

GJE would like to proudly present the very gorgeous Monte Carlo on behalf of the owner 🙌

Monte Carlo is a wonderful example of a welsh part bred that’s been produced slowly and carefully in all aspects of life but focusing primarily in the world of dressage.

He’s 7 rising 8 years old in May and approximately 16hh (but I haven’t had a stick on him yet) A real easy personality on the yard who’s just so happy to be doing anything and everything!

Absolutely Fab for the farrier, super easy to clip, bath and loves to be made a fuss of. He’s fabulous to load, snaffle mounted and great with children and dogs all running about him on the yard!

This chap has obtained 21 BD points to date and had a Riding Club Preliminary 6 win back in October! 🥇

Always in the ribbons this boy is a real head turner!

He loves to jump too and has attended many fun rides, clinics and would probably turn his hoof to being a very good hunter.

He is generally a fabulous all rounder but has really shown a real talent for his dressage and he loves to show off!!

Very much a look at me type that just loves to be out and about!!

He would suit a real aspiring dressage rider who would like a fun horse with a leg in each corner to produce up the levels but also have fun on doing a little bit of everything!

🌟 A TLC Day @ GJE 🌟

A wonderful day of healing with Rebecca Nash of Equilibrium horse healing ❤️‍🩹🙏🙌

All the horses had a pamper session today! Helping them to unravel some emotional and physical issues!

Such an amazing day with Bex who truly highlighted everything suspected and more! A real insight into their personalities and how they’re feeling, helping us to really appreciate them as individuals and their requirements going forwards!

Some were very happy go lucky and pretty rested in themselves and others were working through some real trauma they’ve encountered Along the way.

Armed with all this information I’m excited to keep helping and producing these wonderful horses 🙌❤️

New girlie Jelly has settled into home yard like she’s always been there! 🥰

What a little superstar mare ❤️

She has a lot of fattening up to do over the next few months! Anyone who knows me knows I’m a feeder 🤣🤣

So once she’s plumped out we shall see what she has to say about having a little hack about again. 🫶

Today was also the day Goose left for pastures new with Ellie ❤️🍀

What a lucky pony he is and what a lucky human Ellie is to have such a wonderful steed !

Really can’t wait to see what these two bring to the table!

What a fabulous first clinic 🤩

One of my ambitions was always to get more clinics up and running for our Tbs!

And today came to fruition with the most wonderful group of people with the most diverse group of ex racers, all at various stages of their life and career!

Was so much fun teaching you all and I can’t wait to see you again at our next clinic which will be held at Toomer Farm in February! Dates to follow!! 👀

GOOSE UPDATE 🪿

And last but not least, so pleased to say Goose has found a wonderful home with Ellie Hawkins!!

A match made in heaven!!

It didn’t look like this dream for Ellie could become a reality but the planets all aligned perfectly to make it all eventually fall into place, and Goose will literally want for nothing and enjoy all the galloping and big hedges he so desires ❤️

Everything happens for a reason and these two are going to be an awesome combination!!

I’m so excited for them 🤩🤩

MONTE CARLO ❤️

Another new face made his appearance at the main yard yesterday too!

Welcome to the yard, Monte Carlo! A 7 yr old welsh x Warmblood gelding!

This chap has arrived on sales livery and after an initial settling week we will get cracking.

He’s certainly a stunner and a real all round prospect for some one!

More to come on this chap! 😍

JELLY BEAN 🫘

Well a last minute rescue type project came to the home yard tonight!

Lovely 12 yr old tb mare, had a semi successful racing career which ended as an 8 yr old.

Obviously a hot and quirky mare in training as always had to be mounted on the course after being taken down early!

She’s had mounting sensitivity issues her whole life by the looks of it. It just got better when she was in homes she trusted and felt happy in.

Unfortunately Poor Jelly was missold to the lovely lady that sent her to me. Not knowing where to turn I was contacted to try and help, so she was delivered this evening!

We shall see where her story takes us! Whether she is suitable as a ridden prospect or she may just want to be a wife to Dali and have some very lovely babies!

We shall see ☺️

But there is going to be no rushing this one, she just needs time to find her feet and relax now, so that she shall ❤️

Blue testing out the walker for the first time today. 💙 I suspect this may be the first time he’s been back on a walker since leaving mine four years ago 🤔 He’s such a happy boy! Loving being back doing something 🙌
