Fab lesson with Liz & Iggy today!

They had their first canter together since February!!

Been a long rehab process for Iggy but they look set to enter the white boards again in December 🙌❤️

These are a Couple of green / young horses I’m currently helping to produce using my freelance services.

They are both green with their schooling but the red dun (Cherry) is very much in her infancy of establishing a canter in the arena. These were her first proper real canters where she felt she could work forwards without having a buck due to balance issues. So it’s doesn’t look pretty and I’m having to work pretty hard on keeping her in front of the leg, but was nice to achieve some consistency and confidence in her.

Calypso the Connie has been schooled by me for a bit now, but is still quite weak at times so building that strength up and is the primary aspect of our sessions currently.

Both super lovely horses who will be very exciting for the future 🙌❤️

A wonderful lesson on Friday with Kayley & Ruby 🥰

Working on achieving some rhythm, balance and consistency with Ruby as she gets terribly anxious about stuff. Kayley worked her in beautifully but couldn’t quite achieve a consistent and soft contact in order to work her forwards.

This mare is ridiculously light in the mouth so you have to be bob on to make sure she’s accepting and happy to move forward off the leg and engage herself correctly with out throwing her self around 🤣

Huge thanks to Kayley for allowing me to jump on and work with this gorgeous girly to help achieve the next mile stone in her schooling ❤️🙌

What a perfect way to start my day of Freelance work than a lesson with these two!!

Liz & Iggy have been on a long rehab process over the past few months and was so nice to do our first session of walk work!

What a wonderful horse Iggy is and he so looks after his fabulous mummy so well!!

Well done Liz for cracking on with your boy! What a legend ❤️
