We went to our first 4 strides barrel racing event at Amberley Equestrian Centre in Hereford on 9th March 2025. We had an absolute blast!
Everyone was really helpful, friendly and welcoming to us.
The clinic prior to the races run by Sally and was very informative and thorough and gave us all the basic essentials to run our first ever race.
The races are extremely well organised and Oliver certainly knows what he is doing and how to organise everyone. You know exactly when and where you should be at all times. Trust me, I've been to lots of different competitions and this is a part that often lets competitions down, but not 4 strides! Well done guys!
At the end of all the races there is a presentation of all the lovely rosettes that are all sponsored. Everyone together and celebrating everyone's achievements is just lovely, its like a family.
The arena was lovely. Sand and fibre surface and in an L shape. Lots of room to enable you to fly on your steed around the course and especially over the finish line with lots of space to stop. Everyone is in the arena together, in one corner making it safe for people to have that real adrenaline blast knowing you are not going to career into anyone, sooo much fun!

What a fabulous morning with 4 Strides Barrel Racing - we had visitors from Devon, Cheshire, Warwickshire & East Yorkshire and some fabulous pony & rider combinations.

Thank you Sally & Ollie - lovely to see so many new faces at Amberley Court Equestrian as well as having our very special Duke here to compete. Congratulations to Lilly McColl & Rory and Anna & Duke - top overall points champions of the day 🛢️🤠🐎🛢️🤠🐎

Another fabulous day at Amberley Individuals competition! Lovely to see some new faces joining us today too.

We now only have 1 competition left in February before our mounted games season kicks off for the year so make sure you get those entries in early to avoid disappointment. We were booked up in this one!
