** I have found my spoon maker Tui….i was so excited I nearly burst. Frightened the poor man I think!!!
Now then ,please excitedly send me details of spoons you would like him to make for you….they are all made lovingly in teak wood in chiang mai Thailand.
I have searched for him for years and just don’t want to let him go now.
There may be slight technical hitches in giving him work….he doesn’t speak English and I don’t speak Thai. He doesn’t have email, line ,fb or instagram.
He doesn’t have any way that I can pay him!
However I have plenty of Thai friends ,who will be delighted to make this happen and I have crates sent over every 5 weeks or so. Nb Nothing will be next day delivery!
The spoons will be cheap of course £5 to £10
…. Please please contact any fellow spoon lovers and let’s make this a wonderful plan ,that will really be helping another family.
Worth saying ,I do Need dimensions ,not just pictures when you send me your cherished spoons to copy. Been in this game a while!!!
If you have a spoon you dearly love and would like it to be put into production ( wouldn’t mind it copied) do send me pictures too. Any successful spoons and their owners will be sent a twin spoon to share as a gift of course.
