Home From Home is fully licensed (HOB32) and insured family run dog loving business. We have been running for two years now. I’m Jo and now run the business with James my partner. I set the business up whilst I was a single parent. My daughter Molly had been diagnosed with Scoliosis and was struggling with every day life due to pain. Molly had to go back and forth to Birmingham for appointments and had a lot of time off school. I needed to support Molly and be home with her on the days that she had to much pain to go to school, and I also wanted to work and provide for my family, so I decided to combine that with what I love... DOGS! Home From Home was born. I started with a couple of dogs who came to daycare. Word of mouth meant more people started to become more and more interested and new doggos arrived, and Pickle my boy had new friends. I had found what I was meant to do in life...I loved every minute, even the mud. The doggo’s that started with me are still here and feel like they are part mine, I love each of them and can’t imagine my life without them. ?The response to our daycare blew me away. People seemed to love the games I played with the dogs, the equipment I had, the love the dogs received and the home comforts they were offered. Fast forward two years and my partner James has moved in with his gorgeous girls so we are now a large family (7 in total). We now have two extra dogs Mindy and Peanut. All of our children love what we do and help whenever they can. We added an extra room for the dogs with a conservatory, and we go from strength to strength....we have a waiting list for dogs who want to come, we have wonderful clients who are happy with the love their dogs receive...they have all been amazingly supportive to us. 2019 will be even better and nothing will get in our way.....great things are on their way.
