Today we enjoying a day of scentwork.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in our scentwork UK level 3 and 4 trials today. Both myself, Joyce Lewis and Caroline Darvill really enjoyed the day watching you all show off your scentwork skills, you are all amazing.

Thank you Joyce for judging, Caroline and Joanna Morgan for scribing and of course to Derek for making sure everyone turned up in the right place at the right time.

Thank you all for coming. It's was great fun and a lovely way you send a Sunday.

Busy day at The Doggie Den today.

Starting with a couple of 1-2-1s.
One for a couple with the sweetest little collie pup who just want to make sure they are on the right path. They have definitely made a great start and have gone away with lots of ideas to how to move forward. Banjo has landed on his feet and I am looking forward to watching him grow and learn, he is a clever little lad x
Next 1-2-1 was introduction to scentwork and Hoopers. This little lad loved learning new things, made it all look very easy and has gone away with lots of homework to keep them busy.
Then this afternoon's workshop was introducing new teams to hoopers and working on putting skills into practice in new places for some others. All the dogs did brilliantly and have exciting times ahead of them x

That thing about do something you love and your never work a day it your life is very true 💜 x

Lovely sunny day for our first hoopers workshop of 2025.
Fabulous teams from youngest who coped beautiful in an new environment, clever pups.I am looking forward to watching these teams progress. Some really good teams to watch out for. Starter teams who made Novice skills and courses look easy and Novice teams who showed off their awesome skills and took on challenges with ease.

Our first Scentwork UK trial of 2025 and what a start to the year it was.

First thing 15 teams had a go at level 1 and all 15 teams qualified. Congratulations everyone. how impressive is that?

In the afternoon we held a level 6.
6 teams took on the challenge and 3 qualified. Thank you Harry Latusek for judging and for putting us thought our paces, really enjoyed it.
