Lily has been coming to hydrotherapy for some time, and whilst her mobility had been getting worse, and she had found it increasingly hard to go for walks, she always gave her sessions 100%, and always with a smile on her face. Sadly last week, she took an unexpected turn for the worst, having only done a session the day before, which she got through with her usual determination. Her condition was such that it was not an option carrying on, and we had to make a really tough decision, and let Lily go. I can honestly say, as her vet, that she wanted for nothing. Any little worry on her mum’s part was seen to straight away, with a trip to the practice. We loved having her in, and she loved life, despite finding it increasingly difficult to get up and about.
Her loss is profound, and our thoughts are with her family, who loved her so very much.
