Hi there fellow cat parents!
If you are here then I am going to take a wild guess you are looking for a Herts based cat sitter to take care of your special fur babies whilst you are away? Well if I am correct then you have come to the right place 🙂
As a parent of 4 cats myself I completely understand how every single cat is unique and with cats being territorial animals, a cattery is not always the best option. Cats prefer the comfort of their own home and getting back from a trip or holiday the last thing you need is the added stress of your cat dealing with anxiety from being away from their home environment.
Here at Feline Friends it is our aim to provide your beloved pets with as much normality as possible whilst you are away. We are a service that will come directly to your home and take care of all aspects of your cats care whilst you are gone. This includes feeding, cat litter trays and the all important attention and affection.
As well as your cats I will ensure the safety and cleanliness of your home is upkept by taking any old food or bins out that you may have forgotten about, closing any windows you may have accidentally left open, bringing in post etc.
Now, about me: I am 28 years old, mum of 2. I have grown up with cats my whole life. I currently have 4 cats of my own. All of my cats are completely different in personality, health, age and breed. I am passionate about cats and their care (yes I have often been referred to as the crazy cat lady). I have always said if I were to win the lottery the first thing I would do is open a cat rescue centre. I have 5 years of experience working in peoples homes so I am very comfortable and professional being in different environments. I have experience in administering cat medication of different kinds also.
The main priority is the comfortability of your pets so I would never pressure your pets to come out and interact with me if they did not want to. I will never ever pick up/stroke/chase after your cat if they are not wanting the attention. Cats are very consensual animals and will only interact if they want to and I will always respect that.
That being said I will always ensure I visually see your cat and ensure they’re ok on every visit.
