These three are often overlooked because they need special homes. They all need to be an only cat.
All are temperamental and will tell you when enough is enough. None can go with children.
Dolly is a friendly and loving 2 and a half year old who wants strokes and to sit on you but has also been known to lash out. She had one male owner who sadly died so was quite sad when she first came in, in June but is more relaxed and seems happier now.
Penny was found as a pregnant stray on the street last year, she is our longest resident rescue cat, at approximately 3 years old she has been here long enough to have her annual booster never mind her first and second vaccination. She was very timid and scared when she came in, and was a protective mama after giving birth to 6 healthy kittens in September 2023, they’ve all gone to new homes. She loves her food and actually needs to go to slimming world. Since she’s been here she has become more playful she loves toys especially ones that dangle or have feathers, she allows you to stroke her and tickle her ears and head.
Kitty cat hasn’t been at the rescue long, she needs a lot of tlc, her owner is on end of life care so she is scared as everything has changed for her. She wants to be friends but is nervous so of course her reaction is to attack. She needs someone who is patient, calm and loving to help her become the kitty cat she deserves to be.
