Did you know we do Puppy Grooms? It's a really good way to get your puppy introduced to the grooming salon early on. The first groom is a nice relaxing bath and blow dry with a little scissor trim if needed, face tidy up and paws tidied.

Lola came for hers last week and was such a good girl!! How beautiful is she?!!!

The beautiful Isla comes for a groom every month and is the best girl... Once a month means the up keep of grooming is so much easier and no matter!!

I love this before and after.... Luna the Cockerpoo came for her first groom with us whilst at daycare and shall we say she loves the water? 🤣 as you can see she had a great day enjoying the paddling pool then a good pamper afterwards ❤️

Wow!! All the dogs are blowing their winter coats ready for summer at the moment!!

If your house is becoming FULL of dog hair, this is a reminder to get your dog booked in for a good DESHED groom 🐾

Don't forget we offer a great mud bath for an extra £5 which really helps with loosening all those hairs that are ready to drop!

Our biggest grooming guest has to be Basil the Greay Dane x New Foundland!! He still isn't fully grown (wow!) but is the most gorgeous boy and was so well behaved for his bath, blow dry and deshed.... even if it did take 2 of us to get him in the bath 😃.

The very handsome Whiskey the Australian Labradoodle came for his first groom with me and oh my goodness his fur is just the most gorgeous shade 😍.

Due to some matting he had to be taken shorter than normal but he still looked lovely and fresh! And next groom we can make sure he is a lot fluffier 😃.

Some of The Groomery's grooms in the lead up to Crhistmas.... they all looked and smelt very Festive, ready for Santa Paws 🐾

We had a mix of Full Grooms for the fluffy breeds and lots of wash and blow drys for the shorter fur dogs 🐕

Sorry for not posting recently!! We have been really busy with daycare and grooming! I am going to catch the page up to speed with some of the lovely dogs The Groomery has had the pleasure of grooming over the last few months....

First up is lovely Teddy the Bichon! After a few home grooms, Teddy came in for his first groom with me in December and he was an angel 😇. We agreed to grow his fur out to get that typical Bichon trim so here is his first picture from December and then his second picture from his groom in February, where I could keep his fur longer.

Teddy is such a handsome boy ❤️

Doug the Lab (aka the cutest polar bear 🐻‍❄️ around) came in for his Christmas Groom this week.

He needed a good deshed as not only is it Christmas soon but he is also going to be a big brother even sooner!!! He is now all ready for big bro duties, looking and smelling his finest ❤️

Maverick the Labradoodle came for his first groom with me today! He was such a good boy and is now looking very handsomes ready for Christmas 🎄.

Wanda came for a groom today aswell!! She had been digging in the garden 🤣 so needed a good freshen up before Christmas. She now looks nice and fluffy ... and smells like gingerbread 😍

The beautiful Bella came in for her first Bath, Blow Dry & Deshed. She was such a good girl, and lucky she has very short fur.... she was a little sensitive to the blow dryer so I gave her a good towel dry instead and she still dried in no time at all!!

Some of my most recent grooms ❤️

We've had a great mixture of Full Grooms for the curly haired breeds, Bath, Blow Dry & Desheds and a Wash & Blow Dry for a dog who is in-between grooms but wanted a freshen up!

We had the lovely Luna Sprocker in for her regular Groom yesterday ❤️. She was such a good girl and is off on her holidays for the weekend looking and smelling beautiful!!

Big man Parker came to have a freshen up after being in kennels. He has such thick fur, I needed my trusted beekeeper hat to keep all the hair from sticking to my face whilst he was having his blow dry 🤣

Next up we had the lovely Ted in for his Bath and Deshed 🐾. I have known Ted for so many years now through day care so it was a pleasure to give him a good old groom!!! He really trusted me throughout the whole thing, which allowed him to chill out with lots of treats and cuddles whilst I got rid of all his dead undercoat.

The photo of all the hair I removed doesn't do it justice- thats nearly a whole grooming tables worth of hair!! Ted came away looking years younger and smelling like blueberries ❤️

If a dog is a little nervous about getting groomed, we use a Happy Hoody to cover the dogs ears, muffling the sound of the dryer ❤️. As you can see it worked really nicely with Sully!!!
