Another great achievement from a great team achieving The Zero Pain Philosophy accreditation making us one of under 30 accredited practices!

Our team, our staff and our clients are very important to us. This week around about 1/4 of our team completed their Mental Health First Aid Training.

This means we can make sure all of our staff and our clients can access mental health first aid if required to help during difficult times.

It was great to see such a supportive group of people sharing their experiences and practicing how to support people, though Yogi had a little sleep during the training so he didn’t get his landyard!

The Sanderson Vet family is here for staff and clients alike. Thanks also to Bold veterinary clinic for joining us!

Have you ever wondered what is best to feed your pet? As vets we are uniquely placed to advise on the best food for your pet, both for life-stage or for medical problems.

We don’t recommend or work with any particular brands and think it is best to find the right food for the pet and use UK based proven supplements!

We have fish based options, hypoallergenic foods, foods suitable for those who value sustainability and information (some of our team are accredited raw advisors) for those who favour home-cooked or raw food, which often needs professional balancing from our balancing service!

🦷National Pet Dental Awareness Month🦷

Our nurse Hannah is holding some dental clinic’s on selected dates throughout February. These are 30 minute free of charge appointments where Hannah can assess your pets mouth, give advice on dental hygiene and ongoing care.

Some signs of dental disease are:
Loose or broken teeth
Bad breath
Discoloured teeth
Reduced appetite
Bleeding from the mouth
Difficulty chewing/eating on one side of their mouth
Swelling in the face

Please share with us our huge congratulations to senior nurse Leanne for finding out last week that she had passed her medicine certificate after 3 hard years studying!

Sanderson Vet supports their nurses in their clinical development and encourages additional qualifications to help them grow and to look after your pets in the best way possible.
